Celebrate the revolutionary women pioneering the movement and giving other women the courage to speak up and give zero fucks. Celebrate in empathy with millions of women who are subjected to sexism, domestic abuse, sexual harassments, assaults and acid attacks. Celebrate in solidarity for the disabled women who continue to lack access to public spaces, face social stigmas and remain the most vulnerable in our societies. Celebrate in anger on why young women and children are still being trafficked and why child marriage is still happening in some countries. Celebrate in solidarity with our trans sisters who continue to be denied the right to womanhood and to exist. Celebrate in solidarity with indigenous women for having their homes robbed by greedy capitalists. Celebrate the women who has faced head on with authorities to protect their comrades and children to fight for their livelihoods and environment. Celebrate and to recognize the oppression faced by black women and ongoing racism that kills them and their children. Celebrate in empathy for darker women of colour for facing colourism everyday. Celebrate the commitment of women in the Middle East for fighting against the sexist double standards and resisting religious fundamentalism everyday. Palestinian women fighting against the occupation, Syrian women escaping their war torn homes for the betterment of their children, Kurdish sisters fighting against ISIS head on and many more. Loving-Kindness Meditation First, concentrate on the breath for just a moment. Let compassion arise in your heart for yourself and for all the pain and grief has already happened in this life, is there now, and may yet come. Feel compassion for the lack of realisation and compassion for the difficulties of the practice. Let this feeling embrace you and hold you safe and secure. Extend your compassion to your parents. Let the compassion for their difficulties and their pain and grief arise in your heart. Embrace them, showing them your care and concern. Think of those people nearest and dearest to you. Have compassion for their pain and grief, their difficulties. Embrace them with your love and compassion, showing your care and concern. Thinking of all your friends, let compassion arise in your heart. Embrace them with that feeling. Think of anyone whom you find difficult to love, And think of that person with a feeling of compassion arising in you. Feel compassion for that person’s pain, grief, and difficulties, for his or her lack of both freedom and liberation. Let the compassion really reach out to that person, filling and surrounding him or her with it. Think of all those people whose lives are far more difficult than ours. They may be in hospitals, in prisons, in refugee camps, in war-torn countries; they may be hungry, crippled, and blind, without shelter or friends. Let this heart of compassion reach out to all of them; embrace them with it, empathise with them, realise the pain, wish to help. Move your attention back to yourself, and let this feeling of compassion fill with your head to toe and surround you, giving you a sense of being helped and cared for, accepted, at ease. In vulnerable communities where little girls with big dreams like her go without. Where their still-developing brains and bodies are malnourished w weaker immune systems increasing their risk for infectious diseases. . I share as gently and respectfully as I can. Advocacy begins at home, in the smallest and tiniest of things, in the biggest and hardest of conversations. . This is us at home in our most us forms. Old t-shirts, messy play rooms, bare-faced but still so privileged. I thought of that as I started to get ready for this photo, my fancy makeup down to my contact lenses were a luxury. .
