這是美國內政部所屬的海洋能源管理局過去幾年來長期監控、調查美國第一座進入商業運轉發電的離岸風場（位於美國東岸羅德島州外海的 Block Island Wind Farm (BIWF) ）的風力機組對於海洋環境生態實際影響的實際海底攝影影像。

基本上，離岸風力機組在建成之後，會形成類似人工魚礁的作用，對於風場所在的海洋生態其實有正面的效益。其他國家的離岸風場長期追蹤調查報告，也普遍提出類似的結論。

美國羅德島州的 Block Island Wind Farm (BIWF) 離岸風場是在2015年開始施工建造，在2016年12月完成併聯商轉。風場總共裝置五座離岸風力機組，單機裝置容量為６ＭＷ，總裝置容量為30MW，算是一座小型的離岸風場，主要的目的就是提供羅德島州的一座離島 Block Island 的民生、商業用電所需。該風場的預期容量因素為47.6% 。

From the moment the turbines were installed, marine life began to cover the hard surfaces. Primarily, the inhabitants are mussels, but many other sea creatures are making their home on the turbines including sea stars and anemones.

While the divers were exploring the marine life attached to the turbine structure, they also ventured away to see the fish. Watch the video.

My fav wanton mee in Singapore. Been a fan for nearly 20 years. Their char siew is impeccable but is very hard to get as it is sold out within 2 hours. But, I like their noodles even more - thin like Hong Kong egg noodles, QQ and they use an aromatic sesame oil, soy sauce and lard blend. Michelin guide found them this year when they ventured to Singapore's west.

I get asked this question a lot, but I didn’t go to school for art or photography. Although photography’s always been something I loved, it started as a passion project. I would post all my work on Tumblr and Flickr (anyone else?) and spend hours and hours browsing others' work as well.

I was in my high school photography team (where I met my partner, Tim, who was then the director of the team), covering school events and all. Back then, DSLRs were expensive, a real investment just for a hobby. As my interest grew, my dad bought me my first camera and I will forever be grateful for his support. This “hobby” continued throughout my university years. I would photograph for modelling agencies, fashion brands, friends, events and celebrations, and sometimes just for the fun of it.

One day, I had a sudden thought that I wanted to be a photographer, for real. And from then on I never looked back. I poured everything and all my time into growing my business- constantly learning, refining my craft, practising how to shoot in any and every type of situation and lighting, etc. It’s been full of ups and downs, but gosh I still can’t imagine doing anything else other than this.

It’s been close to a decade now since I ventured into photography. I owe it all to my dad and Tim for their endless support throughout my journey. Now I’ll give myself some credit too—I’ve learned to constantly grow and adapt in this ever-changing industry. Running a photography business is hard work. I’ve learned what it means to have conviction, to be unrelenting, and have the determination to reach my goals despite all else. I’m only just getting started! ✨

In early January I visited the Setouchi Region surrounding Shikoku, for a short three-day tour of the area! Starting in Hyogo, we visited Himeji Castle, before driving through Awaji-shima and arriving in Tokushima. Then we ventured to Kagawa, where we hopped on a ferry and explored the island of Shodoshima! It was my first time getting deep into the Setouchi region - although Shikoku is somewhere I always feel like I'd like to spend more time. Hopefully I can come back in the summer one day! I'd love to go island hopping!

Many people do not know that Dalgona Coffee originated from a little local cafe located in Coloane, Macau!

In this video I go on the ultimate hiking travel adventure to discover the origins of Dalgona Coffee, showcasing not only the amazing frothy coffee in the local Macau cafe called Hon Kee but I also show the off the beaten path side to Macau. I hike through dense bamboo forests, discover hidden hiking trails and summit the tallest mountain in Macau. I even got to explore a WW2 bunker found near the abandoned shipyards of Macau, China.

The trail I used to hike to the original Dalgona Coffee is called Seac Min Pun Ancient Path with the entrance to the hiking trail located near Hac Sa Beach.

This trail allows you to go up to the mountain trails in Coloane and you can get some great views overlooking Coloane Village. While on the top trail I ventured off the beaten path and had a rather adventurous off trail hike up to summit the mountain Coloane Alto. This gave me some incredible views of China.

Next I hiked down the mountain and headed towards Hon Kee Cafe where I would be trying the original Dalgona Coffee. Before reaching it however on the road heading to Coloane Village from One Oasis and the Panda Park I noticed a old WW2 bunker jutting out from behind the trees. I decided to explore it and it was an amazing hidden gem for sure worth doing if you are looking for things to do in Macau!

Finally I walked down to Hon Kee Cafe and here I ordered the original Dalgona Coffee.

What makes this Macau original coffee so special is that the owner Leong hand beats the coffee until it is frothy and fluffy It is made from instant coffee, sugar, milk and water yet with the hand beaten technique it tastes like the best coffee in the world.

Hon Kee Cafe is where Dalgona Coffee came from as South Korean Actor Jung Il-woo came here for a mukbang and showcased the frothy hand beaten coffee.

From here the Dalgona Coffee trend was born and soon was being created around the world but it all began here in Macau at Hon Kee cafe.
