新北市消防員魏旭昇休假與家人到北市用餐，遇上同店客人昏迷倒地意外，在現場一片愕然時，魏旭昇即刻救援，還不忘找到自動體外心臟電擊去顫器（PAD），成功救回客人一命。當天他與家人帶著2個孩子到台北市公館的一家餐廳用餐結束後，他從2樓下到1樓打算結帳時，發現有1名民眾昏倒在地上。他一邊替昏迷的民眾壓胸，另一邊指揮現場人員趕緊尋找附近有沒有PAD，所幸很快找到。新北市消防局表示，魏旭昇平日就相當熱心公益，後續將頒獎予以表揚。

2. 【屏東課後照顧班解決家長照顧負擔獲得正向回饋】

屏東縣政府從104學年度起全縣國小全面開辦課後照顧班到下午6點，是全國唯一全面課照達成率100%之縣市。教育處表示，課後照顧執行5年來，受惠學生高達6萬5434人次，其中低收、身心障礙及原住民共3萬2685人參加。課後照顧實施成效表示，對幫助家長安心就業、支持孩子安心成長、減輕教師教學負擔與提供更多就業機會有正向回饋。

3. 【紐西蘭總理內閣名單多元，包含第一位公開出櫃副總理及女性毛利原住民外交部長】

紐西蘭總理阿爾登（Jacinda Ardern）2日公布她稱「非常多元」的新內閣名單，包括第一位公開出櫃的副總理，以及首位女性毛利原住民外交部長。現年50歲的新外交部長瑪胡塔（Nanaia Mahuta），為首位擔任此職位的女性毛利人。阿爾登還任命羅伯森（Grant Robertson）為副總理，成為紐西蘭史上首名公開出櫃的副總理。阿爾登強調，選擇羅伯森擔任這個重要職位並非因為其身份，而是因為他的領導能力。在內閣20位新成員中，女性和毛利族群占有相當比例，阿爾登除了對內閣的多元化表示驕傲外，也強調這份名單為根據能力的一時之選。

4. 【土耳其地震，2歲女童在瓦礫堆下受困91小時後獲救】

土耳其第三大城市伊茲密爾發生規模7.0的地震。2歲女孩Ayda被發現時正躲在一個洗碗機旁，洗碗機保護了她，因而未造成大幅的損傷。搜救人員稱她躺在「生命三角形」。Ayda被救時神智清醒，也沒有開放性傷口。她的父親在地震當下並沒有在房子裡，負責在尋找中領導著救難隊穿梭他居住的大樓。另外一個3歲小男孩Perincek在一天前被救出來。

Now I do CrossFit workouts pretty regularly and I’m decently fit but recently I thought it would be interesting to see what it would be like to instead train and live like a Shaolin warrior monk.

Now fortunately there is actually a real-life 34th generation Shaolin monk who runs his own temple only a few blocks away from my apartment in NYC. According to his Wikipedia page he can break rocks with his skull, deflect blades with his skin, and sleep while hanging upside down from a tree branch. I’ve met him before and I can tell you he’s the real deal. So I decided to spend a week with him learning the ways of the Shaolin warrior monks.

Apple picking around this time of year has sort of become a tradition with my friends. It's our 3rd in a row and this time I brought my camera 🤠

I'm planning to film the pie I bake with the apples from this day once the weather is nicer too 🥧

I also tried to edit this video in a more relaxed way without my usual sfx. Not sure how I feel about my emote face subs, but I did want to keep them for anyone who prefers to watch things on mute yet still understand the extra nuance.
