(SWIPE FOR MORE PICS) Before continuing with Chairman’s dishes, yesterday was very special as we had another collaboration event in HK - the Gelinaz! I have been attending @the_gelinaz since 2016, the first one being at Den in Japan by @zaiyuhasegawa with the secret visiting chef @virgiliocentral (you can see in #littlemeg_gelinaz ). The last one before yesterday was Dec 2019, during which I visited @mume_taiwan when @richie_lin made received the matrix from 3*** @qiqedacosta ! While the format of the Gelinaz has evolved over time, the underlying nature of the event has remained the same. It is a night in which chefs challenge themselves and operate with many unknown factors yet manage to blend dining, drinking, culture, history, music, art and relationship together. This year there were 144 chefs in 24 cities participating in Gelinaz worldwide, Hong Kong happened to be one lucky city that is covid free at the moment and could organize Gelinaz almost like in the old days. 8 local chefs joint hands, including @littlebaomay , curator of the event and chef / owner of @littlebaohk , chef @agux1988 of @ando.hkg , chef @rchaneton of @monohkg , chef @steve_ouiiii of @hansikgoo , chef @stephanieknwong of @rootseateryhk , @chef.aurelie and @chef_menex of @chinatanghk . Literally everyone represents a different type of cuisine and has such diverse talents, a very special team to carry out Gelinaz at Little Bao!
