Android Auto เปิดให้บริการในไทย ? ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้นั้นก็สามารถใช้งานได้มาหลายปี แต่จะเป็นรูปแบบการโหลดไฟล์ APK มาติดตั้งเอง จนแอดมินขายรถที่รองรับ และ เปลี่ยน Head Unlit ที่รองรับ Android Auto ออกไปแล้ว ไหนๆ Google ก็เปิดเป็นทางการในไทยอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อไม่กี่วันที่ผ่านมา วันนี้จะนำ Android Auto มาให้ชมความสามารถที่น่าสนใจกัน

【玳瑚師父隨筆錄】《樹兒的低語》
The Gentle Whispers Of The Trees (English version below)

有一條快速公路，任妳你載吾千百回，吾都不會有任何異議。其實不要說千百回，就算是萬回，吾也不會覺得厭倦。喲！到底是哪條快速公路，有這麼大的魅力，能贏得咱們玳瑚師父的「芳心」呢？是朝往新加坡樟宜國際機場的東海岸快速公路是也。

小時候的吾，很是怕黑，夜間洗澡，有時還得勞煩吾之五姊，在衛生間外相陪，真是膽小。甚至有時候大姊夫載吾之雙親，及幾位兄弟姊妹，到外頭用晚餐或宵夜，車子經過多樹的地段，吾也會「渾身不自在」。但現在妳你若把吾，置放在没有照明的空房裡、衛生間裡、樹林裡.....，吾已能「掌控大局」，自在且陶醉在其中。能有這麼大的轉變，皆因佛的智慧，「妙觀察智」。

吾獨愛東海岸快速公路，是因為其兩邊的大樹。每當吾乘坐的車駛過，它們總是親切的向吾「揮手」，說著吾聽不懂的語言。但因吾是玄學家，多多少少都懂得，去感應人、物及空間的磁波，因此吾曉得，它們是在與吾打招呼，並非常歡迎吾的蒞臨。當然禮貌上，吾也一樣親切的，回它們一個微笑。

久而久之，它們的話閘子也就打開了。它們是一個很龐大的家族，它們很滿意它們的「住所」，祇是這些年，路上的車輛迅速增長，車輛所排出的廢氣，著實讓它們「吃不消」。它們知道吾為它們難過，反勸吾不必難過，且要珍重自己，因為它們的飲食，比起我們人類，可謂天然多了。很感謝「樹兒的低語」，且讓吾再向它們學習，更堅強、更無私的奉獻。

There is a particular expressway that, no matter how many hundreds of times that you ferried me through, I would have no slightest of objection. Even if it were a thousand times, I would not feel a single sense of tiredness. Wow! Which expressway holds such enchantment over me? Well, it is the East Coast Parkway Expressway, or ECP in short.

When I was a little boy, I was very afraid of the dark. During my nighttime baths, I would, at times, trouble my 5th sister to stand guard outside the bathroom. How timid I was. Even at times when my brother-in-law ferried my parents and my few brothers, sisters and I for dinner outside, I would cower in uneasiness as the car passed by areas with lots of trees. However, now, if you put me in an unlit room, toilet or forest.... I am now able to be in control, and would indulge in the moment blissfully. I attribute such a massive transformation in me to the Buddha Dharma, the Wisdom of Observation.

I am particularly enchanted by the ECP because of the 2 rows of luscious trees lining the entire stretch of the road. Every time the car I am in drove past, they would "wave" at me in a heartwarming manner and speak in a language unknown to me. As I am a meta-physicist, I can invariably sense and interpret the energy fields of the people, space and energy around me. Thus I know that the trees are acknowledging and welcoming my presence. I would also give them a smile as a form of courtesy.

After sometime, they began to communicate more with me. They are a mammoth family and are very happy with their place of "residence". It is just that the last few years had seen a rapid increase in the number of cars traversing the ECP, and they seemed to be struggling with the increased amount of exhaust fumes. They know that I feel sad for them, but in return, they advise me not to feel that way and to take care of myself instead. Their food source, compared to us humans, is much more natural. I am very grateful to the gentle whispers of the trees, which have taught me much of their ways of perseverance, humility and unselfish contribution.

In this video, I went over to Shin Minori at Katong Square to DESTROY their buffet. Shin Minori is a Japanese buffet that offers over 160 items on their buffet menu, ranging from fresh sashimi (thinly sliced raw meat/fish) to crispy agemono (deep-fried dishes). Do check out their website listed below for their full range of dishes.

However, things did not turn out according to plan as service was unexpectedly slow. The average wait time between orders was easily 30 minutes and a significant number of orders were forgotten, never to arrive. I aimed to demolish 200 pieces of sushi for you guys, but after a laboured 2.5-hour affair, I was defeated only by time and restlessness with a modest 90 pieces of sushi eaten. It was hard to say if it was the robot server Loco who was the culprit, or just a simple manpower issue. They even sent a slice of birthday cake with the candle unlit!

The silver-lining was that the food was genuinely good and well-presented. Not a single dish was unwelcomed in my mouth, while there were a few standouts like the various avocado makis and the bean curd skin sushi. If the food had arrived regularly while maintaining this quality, it would have been a fantastic Japanese buffet experience.

Do head down to Shin Minori (preferably their UE outlet) to satisfy your Japanese cravings!

在太魯閣天祥山區不遠處的白楊步道水濂洞

Located just after Tianxiang Village in Taroko National Park, the Baiyang Trail leads to the Baiyang Waterfall and Shuiliandong Water Curtain.

At 2.1KM in length, the trail is a scenic type route that takes around 40 minutes to walk one way. The original route must be taken back to the main road PH8.

The entrance to the trail is located 900M west of Tianxiang Village along route PH8 inside the rock shelter tunnel on the left side, itself a tunnel.

An alternate entrance is located next to the Presbyterian church and Wen Tianxiang Park at the top of the Tianxiang Village terrace before the youth hostel. This route is 2KM longer and takes around 90MINS to join the main trail, however hikers can skip the first tunnel section and enjoy the remains of the original Tapido aboriginal settlement in the area. Be aware this alternative entrance (named Tianxiang Baiyang Trail as compared to the main Baiyang Trail) is more difficult as parts of the trail are steep and may be crumbling. If hiking after a recent rainstorm, be aware of the trail land stability. There is another trail similarly named Tianxiang Trail which leads to the Huoran Pavilion.

The trail was originally built in 1984 by the Taiwan Power Company (台電) as a means to access the rivers to develop hydroelectric power. The plans for damming the river and parts of the gorge were canceled, however the trail remains for visitors to explore.

There are a few unlit, tunnel sections along the route, so be sure to bring a flashlight or use a mobile phone LED to light the path as it may be slippery or rocky.

Due to the amount of water that hikers may come in contact with on the trail, it is advised to prepare rain gear such as a poncho.

The trail runs alongside and nearby the following rivers: Liwu River (立霧溪), Taci Jili River (塔次基里溪), Dasha River (大沙溪), Sanzhan River (三棧溪), and the Wahei’er River (瓦黑爾溪).

Towards the end of the trail, a suspension bridge connects the trail to an observation deck overlooking the river basin.
