    最近幾年其實蠻喜歡Gretsch，尤其是頂級的USA Custom，有一個很高雅的氣質，鼓肚內層會上一層名為”Silver Sealer”的銀漆，官方號稱那是幾十年來造就所謂”The Great Gretsch Sound”的關鍵，成份與工法是商業機密。民間說法有網友提到在早期製鼓技術尚未精良時，鼓肚內層通常都處理的不是很好看，可能有打磨不均勻或是膠合過程留下的痕跡，烤漆可以讓表面更美觀，彌補木頭的不完美，或許也直接影響聲波在鼓肚內的反射等等。

    但這有點太過科學化解釋我覺得也沒很重要，反正這是很好的鼓，價錢也不算很貴，照片這套我看Drum Center of Portsmouth賣價約台幣125000，只不過在台灣的能見度非常低，只有一些中低階的型號，高階的例如Keith Carlock常用的Brooklyn Series、我最近很喜歡的匈牙利屌胖子Gergo Borlai鴿狗波來與大家都喜歡的OG Vinnie Colaiuta使用的頂級USA Custom在台灣我真的沒看過幾套，更別提好好敲過了，希望代理商可以好好加油引進推廣一下讓大家對這個歷史深遠的品牌有更多瞭解。如果誰有願意借我敲敲我也是會很感恩。

    順便補充一下上述的Keith Carlock與Gergo Borlai都在近期推出簽名小鼓，YouTube都有影片可去聽聽看聲音，兩位也都跟我一樣同為Zildjian代言人，Gergo使用A Custom銅鈸+USA Custom鼓組的Zildjian Live真是一絕！推薦各位看看！即使現在大家一窩蜂使用乾鈸而且還要再貼東西弱音乾上加乾我也不會跟風，對我來說那麼乾的鈸毫無音樂性可言，不如夜市買個鍋蓋敲敲算了，A Custom就是我從小到大覺得鈸很標準該有的聲響，而且可廣泛使用在多數曲風，不是因為我代言人身份才講這些，看看A Custom的協力開發是Vinnie Colaiuta這位全曲風王者就能知道這東西做出來就是要讓你隨便哪種音樂都可以打。

    Gretsch的鼓其實也是差不多道理，大家可能會覺得好像品牌整體的痛偏老，但用在現代的音樂也有蠻多很適合，Underoath與打過幾年Paramore的Aaron Gillespie、他的徒弟Beartooth的Connor Denis、Our Last Night的Tim Molloy都是新一代的代言人，主流歌手Ellie Goulding、Billie Eilish的現場session鼓手也都用Gretsch，各位可好好研究一下。
