Books recommendation: The Inexplicable World of Spirits That You Are Clueless About

半夜12點來談，你不知道的不可思議的靈異世界。

我們活在靈的世界裡面，卻對此世界的浩瀚一無所知，就會很容易被我們極有限的感官所蒙蔽，自以為是的認為科學才是真理。

問題是，真正能夠通陰陽鬼神，願意把靈異世界的真相寫出來的人少之又少。為什麼？

小小的我出道這些年來，弘揚佛法和傳達玄學的知識，遭到的欺壓、污衊、霸凌和辱罵卻從來沒有少過。只要站出來，逆著普羅大眾的方向走，就容易被有心人士拿來當箭靶，旁人無知，一犬吠形，百犬吠聲。

那種艱辛和苦，只有經歷過的人才能體會。這使我更加讚嘆我根本上師，聖尊蓮生活佛，這四十年來度眾的道心、毅力和膽識。祂，是我學習的對象。就算面對重重的惡勢力，祂依然勇敢的選擇揭露靈異的神秘面紗，讓我們芸芸眾生能擁有正信，不再迷惘，進而「諸惡莫作，眾善奉行」。

這也是為何我們學佛人，必須非常尊敬的請法，及感恩傳我們法的大善知識，因為很多時候，他們真的是用生命來換得正法的灌頂，恆持的弘法度眾，而我們輕輕一問，便能易如反掌的得到佛慧。若我們不慎重，發心不純，會種下落入三惡道的因，在黑暗的境界裡，永世再也聽不到真實的佛法，從痛苦中解脫。

雖然這四本書是盧師尊大約24年前的著作，在2021年讀還是那麼震撼人心，可見社會雖文明進步，也只是個假象，因為大部份人的心靈並沒有昇華，依舊在黑暗裡打滾。我推薦我根本上師，聖尊蓮生活佛，這四本靈書：

2）《神變的遊歷》
3）《不可思議的靈異》
4）《走入最隱秘的陰陽界》（有英文版）

This midnight, let's talk about the incredible world of spirits that you do not know about.

We live in a world of spirits, yet most of us are largely ignorant about the vast expanse of this world. We become blinded by our very limited sensory perceptions and arrogantly presumed that only science is the real deal.

Problem is, only a rare few can transverse the world of Yin and Yang, ghosts and gods. Even fewer are willing to reveal the truth through writings. Why so?

I am just an insignificant person. Yet since my debut a few years ago, I have had my fair share of oppression, cyberbullying, smearing and insults. Any person, who puts him/herself in the public eye yet walks against the general direction of the masses, is bound to be an easy target for personal attacks by people with vile intentions. Uninformed bystanders are also likely to follow the crowd.

Such pain and hardship can only be understood by those who went through it. Ever since this, I grew more respect for my Grandmaster, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng. He is my role model. The faith, tenacity and courage He demonstrated in delivering sentient beings for the past 40 years are worthy of applause.

Despite facing vicious forces again and again, He boldly chose to reveal the mysterious truth behind the world of spirits, for us to have the right knowledge, and no longer be lost. Only then we can eventually cease all evil and cultivate all good.

This is why when we seek Buddhist teachings, we should have utmost respect and be thankful to our virtuous teachers who impart the teachings to us. Many a time, these teachers exchanged their lives to receive such precious Dharma empowerment and risked their personal safety to propagate Buddhsim and deliver sentient beings.

Yet all we have to do is to ask and we can receive the teachings effortlessly. If we behave improperly and have impure intentions, we will plant the seed of being reborn into the Three Evil Paths, banished into a world of darkness, never to hear a single word of authentic Dharma for life or be liberated from sufferings.

While these 4 books are written by Grandmaster Lu some 24 years ago, to read them in the year 2021 can still be shocking to some of us. Our society may have progressed but this is a false appearance, as our spiritual self are still lacking and in turmoil. I recommend these four books for your spiritual pursuit:

【書籍分享：重訓肌群解剖X機能分析教練書】

先謝謝方言出版社送來的書，讓我在疫情期間能繼續瘋狂地看書。

以我自己來說，因為有治療師的背景，也從事治療/訓練的工作一段時間了，這本書的內容相對較簡單，我覺得適合給：

＊剛進入運動產業的從業人員
＊想居家訓練、運動的民眾
＊想對運動訓練有基礎認識的人

當中有提到核心穩定、多關節動作、爆發力、增強式訓練、個別肌群等的訓練方式及常見動作，每個章節的最前面也都會闡述基本概念跟原則。由於圖片相當的多也標示各個動作的使用肌群，對於解剖學還沒熟悉的人，可以當作工具書來翻。或是對於肌動學，各個關節動作例如屈曲 (flexion)、伸直 (extension) 的名稱還不熟悉的，也可以參考。

當中我最喜歡的章節是『腹部穩定肌群訓練』，一部分是他參考的方式是來自Shirley Sahrmann，我很欣賞的一位物理治療大師。因為對於核心或腹部肌群的訓練，大多人往往就只是做動作，並不知道怎麼『先啟動核心肌群』或根本不知道啟動的感覺是什麼，而這部分在該章節中有簡單的闡述，也有很明確的條列初階到進階的動作，而不是一直棒式棒式棒式。

對於核心肌群如何活化、叫醒，可以搜尋『Abdominal draw-in maneuver』跟『Transverse abdominis activation』等關鍵字

此書，也有一些部分閱讀時可能要注意：

1. 有些用詞的中文翻譯，跟常見的不同
＊Extension這個詞，可以翻譯做伸展或伸直
＊爆炸性訓練動作，可能是指『爆發型（Explosive）』訓練動作
＊Fibularis longus（腓骨長肌）而非腓長肌

2. 觀念的不同
＊93頁，髖屈肌緊繃應該是造成「腰椎前凸（lordosis）」而非腰椎後凸
＊許多下肢動作會提到『膝蓋不要超過腳尖』，但實際上會依照每個人的狀況、身材條件等而不同，所以膝蓋是可以超過腳尖，但避免過度

另外，可能是翻譯上的困難，有許多動作在闡述如何進行時，會比較難理解，這部分建議可以上網找同樣的動作影片做參考。

簡介：
There are many kinds of Japanese traditional flutes, well knowns as Shakuhachi, a vertical bamboo flute. Today, we would like to feature some kinds of transverse flutes, such as, Shinobue, Ryuteki, Noh-kan which has profound tradition and expressions.

1. 《Matsuri 祭り 》
Festival music played by Shinobue. 篠笛による祭り

2.《Miyabi 雅》
Gagaku music played by Ryuteki. 龍笛による雅の音

3.《Yu-gen 幽玄》
Noh music played by Noh-kan　能管による幽玄の世界

4. 《Mystic 神秘》
Mysterious ancient Malaysian music played by nose-flute.マレーシアの神秘的、鼻笛。

“Well-known melodies” Sakura, Akatombo, Itsuki-no Komoriuta, etc.よく知られたメロディーより、さくら、赤とんぼ、五木の子守唄、他。“Okame Hyottoko” お亀、火男Improvisation, music from Kabuki.　歌舞伎音楽より、即興演奏。

西川浩平Kohei NISHIKAWA, born in 1953, is an eminent Japanese flutist, with a long creative career opened to the world, the result of a double training in classical and traditional fields, a rarity in Japan. He is principal flutist at the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra at the start of his musical life, and then starts an important career as a traditional flutist, with the bamboo transverse flutes, to accompany the classical traditional dance Nihon-buyô and Kabuki.

In parallel he orders new pieces to some of the Japanese and foreigner composers in order to open the repertoire of those flutes traditionally compartmentalized in their traditional role at the theater, which he makes recordings of with the CD label “live notes” under the title «Flutist from the East, Kohei Nishikawa».

In order to promote his instruments and the Japanese music to a larger public, from 2003 he starts to teach his instruments in different universities in Tôkyô, publishes several books, is invited, performs and does master-classes abroad including in Canada, in Europe.

《深秋敍》 穆祥來

作曲家於一則訪問說道：「深秋敍寫的是一種對美的蹂躪、自己又無力去解救的感慨，是對逝去時光的遺憾。」

秋風瑟瑟，紅葉落下、黄花遍地的凄清景色勾起了作曲家對往事的回憶。作品創作於1989年，採用音色沉實醇厚的大笛演奏，樂曲充滿戲劇性的感情變化：時而深沉，時而細膩，時而穩定，時而失控。

你我的人生經歷各不相同，但總會有悲傷之時，而悲傷是藝術的養分！

願以深秋敍往事，一訴各種愛恨情仇。


"Deep Autumn Ballad" composed by Mu Xiang-lai

‘The song is a tribute to the “past” and the “ravaged beauty”,’ the writer once described in an interview. ‘It is filled with sorrow and regret, in addition a sense of helplessness.’
 
Composed in 1989 for low range dadi (large dizi), the piece features dramatic emotional changes as it is reminiscent of the regrets back in the old days. We probably have different encounters in our lives, yet sadness is certainly one of the things all of us have in common. Sadness inspires art, though. Shall we, by a ballad for the deep autumn, recall the lingering love and hatred we have had?
