早上趕往看片的路上，看到佳嫻轉po新聞，她只配上大大的「不」字和一連串驚嘆號。於是原本那個準備看超限級喜劇的情緒，也蕩然無存了。一整天都在想今晚該挑哪首歌，一整個下午都在聽《Leonard Cohen: I’m Your Man》的原聲帶。我不敢說自己對這位詩人／歌手／創作者多熟，但從第一次因為紀錄片認識他到現在，也剛好十年了。一如很多讓我認識新音樂的緣分，這次同樣是因為電影。而一個藝術家的風範，風趣，溫暖，還有生活裡實踐的美學和信仰⋯⋯那一切都太迷人。

如今他走了。雖然他走得安詳，也大概沒有遺憾，在這樣的時節依舊蕭瑟。於是我想了一整天，要挑哪一首歌？雖然也想私心選有U2版本的〈Tower of Song〉，雖然也想貼讓我認識Rufus Wainwright的〈Chelsea Hotel No.2〉，雖然好愛Martha Wainwright的〈The Traitor〉，最後選擇了這首，電影中出現但沒有收錄在原聲帶的曲子，只因為柯恩老爺那唱著「a thousand kisses deep」的嗓音，我太印象深刻。

能有這樣的深深沉到魂靈裡邊的真摯，那樣的吻，才是千萬地重吧。

在〈Tower of Song〉的歌詞裡，他寫道：

I've been accused of being a "traitor" to my country,all bcos I dare to speak up about the issues we are facing in Malaysia through my music,honestly,I wrote this song even before "negarakuku" when I was still living in Taiwan,the (heaven) i described here is my beloved country,and i even collaborated with a malay composer,so there you go,please enjoy this song written by a "traitor" to Malaysia!

之前有人說我不愛國,甚至說我是"叛國賊", 我他媽聽了就覺得無聊, 這首歌的歌詞是我寫的,而且是在Negarakuku之前就寫好的!!
