2014年 太平山下演唱會 For Those Tears I Died
「飢渴的人，請你來到溪水的旁邊，我不會離棄你，我會為你抹乾你的眼淚」
陳秋霞第一張唱片是全部唱英文歌的，不過我最鍾意的都是她將這首徐志摩的詩變成的一首歌（《偶然》）。徐志摩的詩，西方人的protest song, 陳秋霞或者Cliff Richard等人的乾淨正派的形象，都是一個屋邨仔憧憬的，希望可以改變到自己認識的。陳秋霞或者Cliff Richard他們的宗教，令我後來自己也變成一個教徒。我記得當年我返教會的時候，那個教會在尖沙咀一個小小的街上的二樓，而三樓是一間時鐘酒店，叫做大觀園。每一個禮拜六禮拜日，我都會返團契或者崇拜，其實有時我都會想一下：究竟我應該去二樓抑或三樓呢？但當時的我覺得二樓更吸引一些。因為在教會有很多音樂，有很多詩歌。其實直到今日為止，我都在唱某一種的聖詩。
For Those Tears I Died
這首《For Those Tears I Died》是我中學時，我與兩位同學參加校際音樂節，並且還獲得了大獎。歌裡面說耶穌講：「飢渴的人，請你來到溪水的旁邊，我不會離棄你，我會為你抹乾你的眼淚」。
當時為我彈吉他的男同學，其實正是我人生中第一個暗戀的對象。他當然也是一個教徒，當我終於告訴他的時候，他告訴我：「不如我們找一下教會的輔導員聊下天？」於是有一日，我們放學之後我們就去了何文田一間教會的輔導中心，那邊有一位充滿愛心的姐姐，她同我講：「親愛的弟兄，你這種對同性愛慕的感覺，是少年期間非常非常普遍的，隨著年齡的增長，青春期的過去，一切都會過去。一切對同性的幻想，都會不見的。但是後來我知道原來這樣的渴望是不會過去的，也都不需要過去。
創作這首《For Those Tears I Died》的Marsha Stevens在這首歌廣為流行的幾年後，竟然向全世界公開宣布她是一個女同性戀者。整個中學階段，我都在孤獨和罪咎中度過。 中學結束之後，某一個暑假的星期日早上，我參加了最後一次主日崇拜後，就決定離開基督教會，離開這個不能讓我釋放，不允許讓我愛我的弟兄的教會。這個禮拜的早上，我唱完最後一次的詩篇23篇，之後我就走出教堂的桎梏，走向大觀園，走向花花世界，從此以後我沒有再回頭回望過。
