圖中這些全是我用過的「壓克力顏料稀釋劑」，也是我今天要與大家分享的主題，沒興趣的趕快轉台，有興趣的姑且聽之或作為選購的參考。
「壓克力顏料稀釋劑」顧名思義就是“可以促進溶解、稀釋顏料來增加流動性的輔助劑”；有人簡稱壓克力稀釋液、助流劑...而模型玩家則習慣簡稱“壓克力溶劑”或“水性溶劑”。其實名稱無所謂，搞得清楚就好。（以下簡稱“稀釋劑”）
問題來了！稀釋劑的主要功能是在於“溶解與增加流動性”，那麼用「水」不也一樣可以嗎？
沒錯！「水」也可以稀釋顏料、也不可或缺，但與用稀釋劑的功效截然不同。首先市面上常見的稀釋劑，包含模型用及美術用，大致可分為三種類型。
一、單純稀釋劑（Thinner）；具有“溶解稀釋”與“減少筆觸”的功能外，還增加稀薄顏料的“延展性”、“附著力”與“消泡”等功能。
二、描繪用稀釋劑（for Painting）；除包含單純稀釋劑的所有功能外，還增加“緩乾”的功能。
三、噴塗用稀釋劑（for AirBrush）；除包含描繪用稀釋劑的所有功能外，又另外增加“抗刮”及“延緩顏料凝結（不塞槍）”的功能。
從以上的描述應該不難看出「稀釋劑」與「水」的功效差別吧！不過在此我要先強調一點，除了第一種“單純稀釋劑”可以高稀釋倍數以外，其他兩種稀釋劑的“稀釋比千萬不要超過一倍”，輕者漆面反光、起皺，重責漆面返黏、顏料乾不了；如果不得已非得讓顏料更稀，我建議可以「再加水」來增加稀釋比。
另外，稀釋劑不論模型用或美術用，除了成分、比例上略有不同外，就功能而言不分你我他，與各廠的壓克力顏料也是通用的，不過廠商也不是笨蛋，自己的稀釋劑一定會對自家的顏料做最佳化；講白一點，拿美術用稀釋劑來溶解模型水漆是OK的，但添加“同品牌專用稀釋劑”效果肯定會更好。
PS:「AirBeast 壓克力通用稀釋劑」可以用於噴塗稀釋、可以用於洗筆、洗槍、洗工具，然不建議用於筆塗稀釋。
