很開心這次能夠合作繪製這本書的封面。
身為一個有被診斷出學習障礙（個人偏好使用「學習不同」）和聯覺的人，這本書的製作對我來說是有個特別的意義。我生在80後期，在台灣成長，當時對於「學習不同」、過動症、憂鬱症等的意識都才萌芽，許多人不知道也無法理解這些「特殊狀態」，只認為被診斷出「學習不同」的人是智障或是功課不好的藉口。

在整個成長的過程中，從還是個三四歲的小肉球到二十出頭歲，我都一直無法相信自己是聰明的，也認為不論自己再怎麼努力未來都不會有太多光彩。那是個很挫折、壓力很大、非常孤獨的時期。

我很高興現在的孩子們能夠擁有這樣的一本書－呈現希望，告訴我們自己的不同也沒什麼不好、只要努力這一切都是可以克服的、且這條路上我們並不孤單。

很感謝Arbin, Bellen和 Shannon 製作也讓我參與了這麼有理念這麼棒的一本書。

This is a bedtime storybook created to inspire children and adults on overcoming their own learning challenges.

As a person with learning challenges, being able to work on this book is extra meaningful. I grew up at the time when the awareness of learning challenges had just started in Taiwan. Most of the people didn’t know or understand what learning challenges were and thought people with it are simply lower in IQ or not putting the effort in studying.

Throughout my childhood, I could never believe that I was smart or there was much hope in the future no matter how much I tried. That period of time was stressful, frustrating and extremely lonesome.

I’m happy that kids now will have a book like this—showing that these can be overcome and that it is ok to be the way we are and we aren’t alone.

Thank you Arbin, Bellen and Shannon for such a meaningful book and for having me on board with you!
