    UEFA has confirmed plans to revamp the Champions League in line with the “Swiss model” ahead of the 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣/2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ season!
    ⚽️⚽️⚽️
    ▶️ The total number of teams in the Champions League will increase from 3️⃣2️⃣ to 3️⃣6️⃣.
    ▶️ The group stage will be replaced with a single league stage including all participating teams.
    ▶️ Every club will play at least 1️⃣0️⃣ league-stage matches against 1️⃣0️⃣ different opponents (5️⃣ home, 5️⃣ away) with opponents being determined by a seeding system that ranks clubs based on their history of performances in past European competitions.
    ▶️ The top 8️⃣ sides in the league will qualify automatically for the knockout stage, while the teams finishing 9️⃣th to 2️⃣4️⃣th will compete in a 2️⃣-legged play-off to secure their path to the last 1️⃣6️⃣.
    ▶️ Qualification for the Champions League will be open & earned through a team's performance in domestic competitions.
