Ted Lo大師加上蘇道哲，編曲未聽已經應受到那份Jazz味道。經過爵士大樂團的幫助，令《低半度》何只低半度，編曲上很高班的作品。由小號到提琴及trumpet，只要細心聽都聽得到，而編曲亦令各樣樂器不搶耳。主歌簡單的琴及trumpet帶出了低半度的氣氛，副歌小提琴令音樂更浪漫，就如在舞會上一樣。歌曲設計上沒有因為是爵士大樂團的作品而放大量間奏來show off爵士音樂，反而在音樂中融合了歌詞，只有最後副歌間奏出現爵士solo。編曲上更沒有加入大量歌者的Ad-lib，可以在間奏中享受爵士。所以，Ray的Mixing令音樂和人聲得到平衡，當然，舒文在錄音上亦十分重要。 . 早在去年幫Dusty Bottle監製就感受到舒文在音樂上的活力，令衞蘭在咬字上沒有很用力的去咬正每一個字，反而放輕腳步令她的聲音更易發揮。其實早在出道時衞蘭已經唱過light jazz的作品，是黎明舊歌改編的《sugar in the marmalade》，那時已經覺得是唱對了歌路。可惜K歌成功令衞蘭越走越主流。聽說她要做一張Jazz的唱片，期待她在音樂上的進步。 ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ Back to 2005, Janice Vidal had covered Leon Lai’s classic song "sugar in the marmalade" in her first album "Day and Night".
