The pill, patch, and ring can also help with acne and make your periods more regular.⠀ ⠀ * Hormonal birth controls can have side effects. The common ones you might exhibit on it include weight gain, change in mood, acne, irregular periods or non at all.⠀ ⠀ * Condoms are the only form of birth control that can protect you from STIs & STDs.⠀ ⠀ * If you make a birth control mistake or have sex without using birth control at all, you have 72 hours to try prevent pregnancy by taking an emergency contraception aka “Plan B”.⠀ ⠀ * The “Plan B” should only be taken during an absolute emergency because the level of hormones in each pill is much higher than long-term methods of contraception. ⠀ ⠀ * The “Plan B” is available over the counter at any pharmacy. ⠀ ⠀ People who have vaginal sex without birth control have an 85% chance of getting pregnant within a year. Your body, your choice. Never let anyone else tell you otherwise if you feel like this is what you need.
