You may simply skip the descriptions below and just come--I guarantee it's gonna be fun and fabulous!!👭👬 QUEER LOVE: Queer/ing TED talks and the LGBT experience in Hong Kong By inviting queer activists and professions from various backgrounds to share about their real-life experience in formats similar to TED talks, this event aims at breaking the stereotypes and stigmatizations that exist within and outside the LGBTQ community in Hong Kong, and letting students and the general public know more about the situations and challenges LGBT people face that go beyond queer theories and textual representations. This is the first event of an entire series which will be conducted in Cantonese; the remaining events might be conducted in English depending on the availability of guest speakers.
