Baitul Anor - One of the mansions owned by YAM Raja Kechil Sulong Harun Al-Rashid. This superannuated mansion is located at Bukit Chandan, next to the landmark of Kuala Kangsar, Ubudiah Mosque; and was built in 1912, by one of the notably skilled craftsmen known as Tukang Sofian. It’s specially built for Raja Kechil Sulong Harun Al-Rashid’s third wife, Raja Mentera Raja Sir Chulan, and was named after the eldest son of YAM Raja Kechil Sulong Harun Al-Rashid with Raja Mentera, Raja Anor Shah. YAM Raja Kechil Sulong Harun Al-Rashid was described as having excellent skills in architecture and art, especially in the art of Malay woodcarving; making his legacy of oeuvre still can be seen around Kuala Kangsar. Aside from his passion for woodcarving and architecture, he was also a distinguished sportsman in polo and football. YAM Raja Kechil Sulong Harun Al-Rashid is the son of the 28th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Idris Murshiddul Azzam Shah. He was born in 1882 and granted the title of Raja Kechil Sulong in 1918; in conjunction with the installation of Sultan Iskandar Shah, the 30th Sultan of Perak. He later became the Malay Secretary to Sultan Iskandar Shah and was regarded as a staunchly patriotic Perak Sultanate. In case you don’t know, Perak state has their system which differs from the other state in Malaysia to assign their new Sultan (ruler). They are not using the system where the son of the Sultan will inherit the reign of power. Instead, there will be a rotation between 3 royal families; and before any of them being ascended to the throne of the Perak Sultanate, they ought to hold a title which is known as Raja-raja Bergelar: Raja Kechil Sulong, Raja Kechil Tengah, Raja Kechil Besar, Raja DiHilir, Raja Kechil Bongsu, Raja Muda, and Paduka Seri Sultan Perak.

I am always labelled a conspiracy theorist because I follow the money. The pandemic has brought us to the brink of a global financial crisis. Whenever there is a situation like this, everyday people from the bottom towards the top, are forced to liquidate their assets so that they can survive. During this time people with money and power buy up land, property, and whatever else they can on the cheap. After the 2008 global financial crisis, investors brought repossessed homes for pennies on the dollar. And now, Bill Gates, the man that has been pushing for lockdowns (which siphon resources away from everyday people), and the vaccine (which he will profit from) is the biggest agricultural landholder in the United States, with over 242,000 acres. He also purchased 500,000 shares of genetically modified food farmers, Monsanto. It’s funny how “activists” have gone from screaming “eat the rich!” to staunchly defending Bill Gates. He has been profiting off this crisis through agricultural land buying, FedEx, Microsoft, UPS, and more. In Malaysia, we should be looking out for the companies that are purchasing land and property on the cheap at the moment. It is more than likely that these companies have people in the government that they can influence to extend the lockdown. This puts the Rakyat under more pressure to sell their assets off below market value so that they can survive. This covid situation does not effect the elite like it does the rest of us. What happened in Sabah last year clearly reflects that. If small businesses and SMEs are losing money, someone is making money. This is not just about Covid anymore. We are being robbed behind our backs. Please, wake up.
