เพราะตอนนี้ตัวเกม Battlefield 2042 บน Steam และ Origin ได้ปรับลดราคาต้นของตัวเกมทุกเวอร์ชั่นให้ถูกลงราว ๆ 300 - 700 บาท โดยรายละเอียดราคามีดังนี้

Battlefield 2042 : Standard Version / Steam 1,599 บาท, Origin 1,599 บาท จากเดิม 1,899 บาท
Battlefield 2042 : Gold Edition / Steam 2,499 บาท, Origin 2,499 บาท จากเดิม 2,899 บาท
Battlefield 2042 : Ultimate Edition / Steam 2,799 บาท, Origin 2,999 บาท จากเดิม 3,499 บาท

สังเกตได้ว่า ตัว Ultimate Edition ซึ่งเป็นตัวเกมเวอร์ชั่นที่แพงที่สุดนั้น บน Steam ราคาถูกกว่า 200 บาท และราคาต้นของทุกเวอร์ชั่น ถูกปรับลดราคาลงตั้งแต่ 300-700 บาทกันเลยทีเดียว ถือเป็นส่วนต่างที่เยอะพอสมควร อาจจะมีการปรับเปลี่ยนในภายหลังอีกก็ได้ แต่เรื่องราคาต้นนั้นปรับลดลงแล้ว ใครที่สนใจก็สามารถซื้อตัวเกมมารอไว้ได้เลย

อย่างไรก็ตามสำหรับผู้ที่ซื้อเกมไปแล้ว สามารถทำเรื่องขอคืนเงินได้ เพื่อนำเงินมาซื้อใหม่ในราคาที่ถูกลง ทั้ง Steam และ Origin

Battlefield 2042 จะเปิดให้เล่นช่วง Beta ภายในเดือนกันยายนนี้ และเกมจะเปิดให้เล่นจริง 23 ตุลาคม 2021
