For what its worth, it’s been fulfilling. One day, you’ll reach to that point of your life where you just wouldn’t matter if it’s gonna happen or exist, but you appreciate every single moment you’re blessed with. Be it with people, places, and things. I may have just turned a year older (wiser🤪) a few hours ago being the winning sperm, but I’m still swimming. Across the continents, the puddle, or wherever it could be. I don’t and won’t ever expect anything towards anyone on this particular fav number of my life (13), but I would appreciate it if you’d reflect on your own journey. How have you been? Are you really okay? Will you smile or cry at the end of the day? Did you manage to hug or call your loved ones? What will you do if could redo experiences? Do you have regrets? What did you have for breakfast, lunch, dinner - today? Friends..... there could be million to trillion of questions I want to ask you, so that you can ask yourself. Iris Simpkins said as humans we understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible. And how it can actually ache in places you didn't know you had inside you. And it doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends... you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood. And how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy. A brief moment of despair to reflect upon. This thing called #Life? It’s fun, but can also be exhausting. No, I am not sad or happy. I am content with my life just the way it is. The people I met, interact to even will meet. As a matter of fact, I learn, have learned and will always be learning. My daddy used to tell me something so powerful to the preschool-year old me and fast forward to 20 years later, I can still remember everything. “life is like cycling. One moment we’d be on top and the next second, we’d be at the bottom hill. We’d also be in the middle of the way, and that’s okay.” Just the way I am stepped on this staircase halfway/mid through life, would you reckon it’s easy to have the step? Of course not. Every foot marks that we take in life, be it a personal journey, family, careers, friendships, the world and so much more are vital for our next move to get us to where we’re destined to be. Don’t worry so much about the pain and sorrows, feel it all and smile through for the rest of this monumental thing called #life. If anyone can do it, so can you.
