With the change in food and environment when I travel, I’m very prone to having diarrhoea.. 😫 It is important for me to take good care of my own health and wellbeing to avoid any disruptions during my travels. 😖

I’m sure most of us have experienced diarrhoea once in their lifetime that affects us, not only physically but emotionally and socially! It can be tough if I do not have any proper medication, especially when I’m travelling. That’s why I always go prepared. ☺️

There's not just one road to the destination, but many roads. You just need to take the little step that’s right in front of you, and then the next one, and a few years down the track, they will seem like massive achievements.

I didn’t meet my father until I was 6 years old. My parents had a comfortable, middle-class life in Shanghai, or as close as you could get under communism. But they always wanted to live overseas, and just before I was born, my dad came to Sydney to set things up. I don’t know why, but in the end, my mother and I didn’t join him until I was 6.

Doing our best to stay socially distant, Katherine and I hop on our bikes and head out of the city, to the nearly deserted streets of Guanmiao, Taiwan. This is a small town located west of Tainan, and is home to the Guanmiao Painted Village. Though not a large village, the beautiful murals on the buildings are great for taking pictures, and the clean air will calm you. Unfortunately, we happened to get caught up in a tropical storm in our mission to find the region's famous homemade noodles.

This is just a short video, to smile when watching again because the weekend of April 2020, I'm 23 and my life is very cute.

I love the weekends I get to draw, if I don't draw then go to work like filming / taking pictures. For me to do those things freely, is a peace. These are the moments when we step through a new world, and return to being more kind to the present.

Having just been socially isolated after the epidemic is under control, I am returning to life and problems in future plans that I have not yet solved. So maybe this is a weekend called peace with me will be very rare to be repeated. Instead, the next few weeks will not go out again, do not do any crazy art ideas anymore, I will be more serious in making graduation projects. I will have to be a bit more strict, but I still like the architectural work the most.

Mình yêu những cuối tuần mình được vẽ, nếu không là vẽ thì là đi làm việc như quay film/ chụp ảnh. Đối với mình được làm những điều đó tự do, là một sự bình yên. Đó là những lúc được bước qua một thế giới mới, và trở về tử tế hơn với sự hiện tại. Chắc là nó thật sự "must have" in life cho một đứa nhạy cảm từ rất bé như mình. Nếu không sẽ tiêu cực đến chết mất đối với thế giới này. Mặc dù nó đẹp thì nhiều hơn. Thanks god put me in my right way!

Vừa được giãn cách xã hội sau khi dịch được kiểm soát, mình đang phải quay lại cuộc sống và những vấn đề trong kế hoạch tương lai mà mình chưa giải quyết xong. Nên có lẽ đây là một cuối tuần được gọi là bình yên với mình và nó sẽ rất hiếm được lặp lại. Thay vào đó là những tuần sau sẽ không ra ngoài như vậy nữa, không làm những ý tưởng nghệ thuật điên rồ nào nữa, mình sẽ nghiêm túc hơn trong việc làm đồ án tốt nghiệp. Mình sẽ phải hơi nghiêm khắc hơn một xíu nhưng mình vẫn thích công việc kiến trúc nhất.

Đây là một video ngắn thôi, để mỉm cười khi xem lại vì cuối tuần những ngày tháng 4/ 2020, mình 23 tuổi và cuộc sống mình rất rất dễ thương.

Sau dịch, mình có nhiều bạn hơn, mình cũng dễ vui hơn, chăm sóc bản thân hơn, giờ thì, mình cũng chuẩn bị chăm sóc cho đồ án tốt nghiệp nữa. Điều mà mình muốn truyền tải cho các bạn học trò mình mỗi ngày cũng là vậy, các em muốn thật sự vui khi làm việc sau này, thì phải dành thời gian cho bản thân, cho những điều mình yêu trước, và sau đó dùng tâm trạng thoải mái đó để luyện tập hay làm việc có kỉ luật hơn.
