☂️Day 7 Updates

After almost a week in the hospital, the antibiotics is working.
Before treatment, his hands trembled, eyes half open, and he can't even smile, just the confuse look all the time.
Today mom told us daddy can already eat on his own. Eventhough he still duno where he is or who anyone is. But he'd already started to get familiar with mom, his new friend. (What a heartbreaking encounter to teach someone who used to love u, to love you again). 💔

Look at this mischievous face of my dad. He looked fine but it's just something not right in the head. He can't remember and he just can't connect to the present (and past).
And usually at night, nurse will put up the barricade to prevent him from falling/ and to prevent him frm coming down cos his legs are still weak to walk on his own.
But just now, the security guard (of the ward) told my mom that dad climbed out of his bed and walked towards the exit at 3am last night!

*mom probably had a heart attack just by hearing that

Good news is it seems like dad's leg is not as weak as we thought 🤣

Bad news is he risked falling down and hurt himself ☹️

So mom asked dad,
"where did u want to go last night?"
Dad: "after you go home, i also want to go home" 😭

(Note: his speech is still slurred and slow)

Sigh, who would have imagine days like this?
Keep the blind faith burning. Dad will be fine 💪

A super simple daily vintage makeup for the colder months~
This look goes so well with a warm knitted jumper (yes I say jumper, fight me Americans)
I dubbed this video at 4a.m. after only getting five hours of sleep in four days... so yea.. slurred speech and all #sexy

It's my first time filming a makeup tutorial, so it's obviously not perfect.

聽說現在台灣還是很熱，但紐約已經非常的「冬天」了
今天的妝我覺很適合穿毛衣的時候畫 （雖然我根本沒穿🤦🏻‍♀️）

原本配音的時候語氣比較“正常”但覺得好像和這個影片的感覺不太配，
所以變成這樣半講悄悄話了。

這是我第一次拍自己化妝，
發現我化妝的時候真的會做很多奇怪/醜的表情欸～

Sometimes it's easy to get frustrated teaching the parents how to be techy savvy when you realise they were the patient ones teaching you how to feed and clothe yourself so remember to always be patient with the parents!! Speaking of parents, I think I am in a nesting phase. I keep getting baby related stuff despite being months too early.

Every night, Isaac and I sing together and even though his words are slurred- its the cutest thing ever!

Signs and symptoms

The main symptoms of stroke can be remembered with the word FAST: Face-Arms-Speech-Time.

Face – the face may have dropped on one side, the person may not be able to smile or their mouth or eye may have dropped.

Arms – the person with suspected stroke may not be able to lift both arms and keep them there because of arm weakness or numbness in one arm.

Speech – their speech may be slurred or garbled, or the person may not be able to talk at all despite appearing to be awake.

Time – it is time to dial 999 (Malaysia) immediately if you see any of these signs or symptoms.
