NASA Successfully Lands Probe on Mars
.
Summary:
NASA scientists waited with bated breath as InSight the probe initiated its landing procedures above the Red Planet after a seven-month journey, and the moment of truth arrived when they finally received a signal from the spacecraft: it survived. Its main mission being helping scientists to gain an insight into the core and seismic activities of the planet, InSight will hopefully shed light on how Mars has come to its current state.

Language Enhancement:
e.g. There is going to be a probe conducted by a third-party instigator into whether our employees have violated sales protocol.
e.g. I would appreciate it if you don’t probe into my personal affairs. That really is none of your business. —————————————————

Is VR the Future of Corporate Training?
1. A more efficient way to learn procedures.:
2. A safe place to learn soft skills.:利用VR訓練公開演說、客服、或是管理技巧等等軟性技巧。
3. Sometimes even better than IRL(in real life).:有時候VR會比真實世界好,尤其是在Covid-19的關鍵時刻。
解釋:to clarify or supply additional information on
但當作動詞的時候是:to get rid of/ to fall off/ to spread,
例句:A single bulb shed a harsh light on the table.—Cambridge
Instead of training specific skills, they have implemented what cognitive psychologists call an Exemplar Model, highlighting a number of very salient examples which work in tandem to shed light on an abstract theme.

🏠Rents in San Francisco, the most expensive apartment market in the U.S., are tumbling as the city’s vaunted tech sector sheds jobs and more tenants leave the city.

🏡The apartment vacancy rate in San Francisco rose to 6.2% in May, according to apartment data firm RealPage. That’s up from 3.9% only three months ago, after stay-at-home orders went into effect and more people in the city decided not to renew their leases.

📉San Francisco’s median rent in May for a one-bedroom apartment was also down 9.2% compared with a year ago at $3,360 a month, according to listings platform Zumper. That was still the highest monthly rent of all major U.S. markets, Zumper said, and a reminder of how steeply rents in the city climbed before their more recent descent.
