I did not see this feedback coming.

We were in a team-building session on sharing constructive feedback. And what my colleague said completely took me aback.

I snapped, half-laughing to conceal my defensiveness: “I’m not sure if this is the case.”

It’s not that I held back in team meetings! I wanted to make sure what I said was valuable. Okay… sometimes I over thought it too long; the team moved onto the next topic.

But hey, isn’t that what considerate people do?

I was working in The Netherlands among some of the brightest young minds from 20 countries worldwide. Coming from a small developing country like Vietnam, I felt like an underdog.

Of course, my inferior feeling was self-imposed. I was the only person who saw myself that way. But I had no idea back then.

During that time, Imposter Syndrome hit me hard. But it had always been with me since I was small, like a shadow. And it took many years to free myself from it.

Alright! Back from my self imposed break from social media! Had an awesome time hanging out with the kids at @youthbeatmedia today! Youth Beat is an awesome program, founded by my high school art teacherJeff Key, that teaches media skills which include acting, directing, cinematography, editing, and writing to kids in Oakland that would not normally have access to this medium at their own school. I got to watch two teams make their respective films and give them a pointer or two. I am proud to be partnering up with them and helping in their future endeavors. Honestly after 25 years of working non stop, I did not miss not working that much during Covid but watching these kids work today made me miss the film set. I gotta start looking for a job! A past hurt can cause a person to be afraid of trying again for fear of getting hurt twice.

Just because you had a bad experience does not mean that it will always be bad in the future.

If you ate a grape and it was sour, does that mean that all grapes are sour and that you should avoid all of them? If you do that, you will never taste the sweet grapes.

If you were hurt in love, or in friendship, don’t let that make you cold and heartless. The only one benefiting from that will be the devil.

Dare to trust God for restoration, and this time, try again while praying and being led by the Holy Spirit. Many times we get burnt when we act presumptuously without praying and seeking God for counsel first. He will help you to make good decisions that are beneficial for you.

Self-imposed restrictions and limitations can cause you to fall short of the quality of life that God wants you to freely enjoy. Take a step of faith and believe that the next time, it will be good. Our God restores!

GSX-R250は、400（1984年）、750（1985年）、1100（1986年）と１年ごとに展開して来たGSX-Rシリーズの末弟として1987年3 月に発売された。新たに開発された水冷４気筒DOHC4バルブエンジンは、SPECと呼ばれるヨシムラデュープレックスサイクロンのOEMエグゾーストパイプを採用し、当時の馬力自主規制値である最高出力45psを14500rpmで発生し、丸目二灯というGSX-R伝統のカウリング（ハーフカウル仕様も存在した）を纏い、スチール製のツインスパーフレームを採用していた。当時盛んであったSP-Fレースを念頭にクロスミッションを採用したGSX- R250SPも1988年に登場した。

1989年2 月には、大径フロントディスク、アルミツインスパーフレーム、4連スリングショットキャブ（GSX-R250は2バレルキャブレター）、補強入りスイングアーム、前後ラジアルタイヤ（リアは18インチ）を採用したGSX-R250Rと呼ばれるモデルが登場し、GSX-R250と併売されるようになった。このGSX-R250RにもSP-Fレースを念頭に置いたGSX-R250RSP（シングルシートカウル、クロスミッション、調整式前後サスペンションを搭載）と呼ばれるモデルが存在した。

250ccクラスのレーサーレプリカモデルでは2ストローク車の人気が高かった事に加え、シリーズ中では比較的発売時期が遅く、いわゆるバイクブームの終焉とも重なり、GSX-R250、GSX-R250Rとも一度もフルモデルチェンジを受ける事無く販売が終了したが、GSX-R250のエンジンは後に発売となったアクロスの、GSX-R250Rのエンジンは後に発売となったバンディット250やカタナ250のベースエンジンとして、それぞれ利用された。
