IF MONEY WAS A HUMAN, WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE? 🤔

For me, money used to look like Scrooge, the protagonist of Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol”.

I was afraid of Scrooge. I was very much afraid of money.

Of course, I didn’t go around panting:

“Check this 1 dollar note! I’m terrified!”

The fear was hidden deep in my subconscious.

To me, money was an evil force that would 1) turn me into a bad person 2) make me become an undesirable woman. And 3) the more money there is, the less love there will be.

At a subconscious level, because I was afraid of money I wanted to get rid of them, fast.

So I spent all the money I made. And I was terrible at asking for money, even when it was a fair exchange for my hard work.

I told myself: “Do what you love and money will follow” - which, by the way, is one of the most over-romanticized lies ever invented.

𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞-𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥.

It was when my partner and I held each other crying. We just came back from a 3-day retreat. We were exhausted when we found out that we barely broke even.

That wouldn’t happen if I paid attention to our cash flow.

But I didn’t, I was too afraid of Scrooge.

After that wake-up call, I started to feel suspicious.

“Maybe I have some unacknowledged problems with money.”

I began an inner expedition to explore my money issues and build a better relationship with money. From replacing my limiting money beliefs to healing my money wounds.

Made with fermented soybeans Tauchu is a beautiful ingredient used in many Asian dishes. Indonesian, Nyonya, Chinese would use this savoury paste in dishes that would definitely open up any appetite.. it’s kinda sweet, pungent miso like paste..as I was sautéing my tauchu paste with all my chopped garlic, ginger and onion .. it Kinda jogs me back to simpler times .. simpler times where it’s not as hard to be thankful and grateful for what has been given.. sometimes now I pinch myself for moments where I become that ugly Scrooge and forget for without HIS grace i won’t have these worldly goods .. haihhh .. anyhows I got lucky, went fishing in my small little pond and guess what I caught .. 有人問"hot red wine"之recipe，我索性搵番呢篇出嚟：Mulled wine，原來已是8年前寫的。(天寒地凍，唔使聖誕，真係好啱)

//狄更斯顯然也愛這種加糖加香料的冬日暖酒。不同書作中他都花不少篇幅描述此酒，《 A Christmas Carol》更奠定了 mulled wine在“ Christmas culinary history”的地位。書末，覺悟了的孤寒財主 Scrooge邀請窮苦的員工 Bob一起喝 mulled wine，但文中稱之為「冒煙的主教」（“ A merrier Christmas, Bob…… and we will discuss your affairs this very afternoon over a bowl of Smoking Bishop!”）。

Mulled wine源溯古羅馬時代，到了 14世紀才因“ muddle”（混在一起）一字得名，取其把各式香料和酒胡亂地混在一起的意思，是歐洲多國：英、法、意、德、以至荷蘭丹麥瑞典芬蘭北歐諸國，及至東歐各國的傳統聖誕熱酒。

把紅酒倒進煲裏，任何最普通的紅酒都可以，加入適量的糖，中火煮熱，再加橙片、檸檬皮、肉桂條、豆蔻、丁香、雲呢拿豆莢等等慢火細煮， Jamie Oliver的秘訣是......

香料的分量組合不同人不同國家有不同秘方，各適其適， Jamie Oliver的「酒譜」還加入月桂葉、八角和青檸， Cocktail之王 Dale deGroff的北歐版有杏仁片和提子乾，狄更斯則主張投入砵酒或“ a tot of orange brandy”，讓味道和勁道更豐。

冬夜，酒煮得一室又香又暖，就算沒有窗外白雪窩心壁爐，寒天熱酒，一杯在手，和親近和親愛的人共享，叫你臉上發光，關節發暖。

我的版本呢，是文華酒店的處方......小時候聖誕的味道總滿溢聖誕樹的松香和文華酒店的 mulled wine香，於我是聖誕節的 Chanel No.5，松香牽着酒香牽着一家人的笑聲，除了溫暖，就是溫馨。

如今是“ Not on the menu”了，特別多謝文華酒店糕餅部的 Clara，許多年前我因為懷念昔日的味道，去尋找昨日的 mulled wine，文華果然是文華，她待客以誠地為路人甲如我張羅，請酒店師傅特別做了 mulled wine sachet，解我纖瘦的思念。現每逢在港度聖誕，我都會找她。

Dragon City (Đảo Rồng) là nơi bạn có thể nhân giống những con rồng của riêng mình trong thế giới huyền diệu. Rất thú vị khi bạn có thể tự tay nuôi dưỡng, tìm kiếm thức ăn và môi trường sống cho chúng, sau đó cho chúng đi chiến đấu trong những trận chiến vô cùng hấp dẫn khá giống với game dragon mania legends.

Mỗi loại rồng đều mang một đặc điểm riêng và có môi trường sống khác nhau, nên bạn cần lựa chọn cẩn thận trước khi bắt đầu xây dựng. Ví dụ: Rồng Flame Dragon thích nghi với môi trường lửa cháy, rồng Venom Dragon thích nghi với môi trường trái đất và bóng tối, còn Mirror Dragon thì thích nghi với môi trường Legent....
Vì vậy, bạn cần sắp xếp hợp lý sẽ quyết định việc tăng trưởng nhanh của rồng và người chơi có thể kiếm được nhiều vàng hơn, thăng cấp nhanh hơn. Không nên sử dụng hack dragon city vì sẽ làm mất tính hay của game đi rất nhiều.

Ban đầu bạn nên tập trung xây dựng thêm những môi trường sống như Flame, Sea và Nature để có nhiều sự lựa chọn cho những chú rồng. Nâng cấp môi trường sống của rồng sẽ tăng giới hạn số lượng rồng trong mỗi nơi cư trú, cũng như lượng vàng thu lại cho bạn nhiều hơn. Trong game có khá nhiều dragon hills để xây dựng các công trình. Hãy nâng cấp nơi cư trú của rồng bất cứ khi nào cấp độ chơi cho phép nhé và chú ý đặt tối đa rồng trong mỗi nơi cư trú để thu thật nhiều vàng, giúp bạn tăng cấp thật nhanh
