When I was scrolling down the comments, I saw someone wrote, “If CHU2 asks Kokoro, she’ll just stare like「What is money? I only know gold bars. Kokoro can literally buy an entire island like she’s buying a piece of candy.」” 😂 When this song released, it gave me the idea that I should make a reel based on the comment. I used Misaki in this reel instead of CHU2. Then, voila! Also, I did a Japanese voice over for the first time in this reel. I thought I knew real heartbreak until now. This is my hardest goodbye. No matter how hard I try, I can’t do this without balling my eyes out. I started writing this at 4am because I thought writing it out will help me cope with the news. But there’s nothing I could say that would make up for the pain I’m feeling. Empty, I feel so goddamn empty. I didn’t just lose my grandmother. I lost the person I loved the most in the world. That’s the hard truth, and scrolling through these pictures has made it all hit me so hard. I haven’t seen you for 2 years and just five days away from seeing you again, 5 days away from giving you one last hug and kiss, I guess you and God had other plans. I know you fought, and I know you tried your best just so you could see us again. I’m sorry we couldn’t make it back fast enough. That’s the regret I’m going to live with forever. I know you just didn’t want us to see you that way. So my daffodil, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being the best grandmother in the whole world. Thank you for taking care of me when I was sick, even though you yourself were sick. Thank you for driving us to college everyday. Thank you for always making sure we were eating right, and taking care of our health. Thank you for always being there for us no matter what the situation. Thank you for always having our back. Thank you for everything. No one could ever replace you. I wish you could’ve seen me be successful, seen me get married, seen your great grandkids. But I’ll make you proud. I promise. You’ve taken a piece of me with you but heaven’s not too far away. So I guess here we are 50 minutes later, where I have to end this letter to you.
