《🚗考照經驗分享ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ》 第二次考照終於終於考過了(⸝⸝⸝ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ ⌑ ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀⸝⸝⸝)，太感動所以跟大家分享一下考照的過程! ⚠️我是在加州考的，不確定是不是每州都是這樣，如要參考請自行斟酌👌 📍考試地點：各城市的DMV（Department of Motor Vehicles) 也就是台灣的監理所! 因為疫情的關係，有些城市已經預約到9月底了，為了趕快考到駕照，所以我是預約在距離我家30分鐘路程的Fullerton DMV，讓我9/9就能考到第二次試( ꈍᴗꈍ) 📍考試流程/內容： 考官會先自我介紹，告知你注意事項，比較特別是我是第二次考，所以考官有問我:第一次考照錯在哪裡?你有沒有回去練習? 再來是閱讀考試規定和通過標準，並且 簽名，然後就會進入pre-drive check的環節! ▪️Pre-drive check✅：出發前有約14項的檢查項目，考官會在車外問你： Can you point out your emergency flashlight（危險警示燈）? Please show me the arm signal（左、右轉、倒退或停車的手勢） （此大項不能錯超過3個，不然會failed） 也因為COVID-19，考場要求駕駛和副駕駛座的窗戶全程都要打開，考官上車前也會鋪塑膠套和鞋墊紙，之後考官會說：你準備好就可以出發並右轉出去了٩( ᐛ )و （然後說明一下，考駕照沒有場考，全部都是路考! 只有最後會進來DMV停車場停車） ▫️上路：每條路線都不一樣，基本上是根據考官的指示來駕駛（雖然可能還是有幾條固定路線） 我是出去左轉，然後三次的change lane（換線）考官: change your lane to the left（換左線） 換線的口訣：打燈、看鏡、轉頭（沒有轉頭會直接failed掉），我看網路上英文換線好像也有口訣叫：SMOG（signal, mirror, observe, GO!） 第三次換線不知道考官是不是故意選盲點區有車的時候，所以轉頭確認是否有來車真的很重要噢💪! ▪️進社區： 為了不阻礙交通，通常不會在大馬路上開太久，大部分都在社區裡繞路，接著就是一連串左轉、右轉，遇到dip（路面顛簸凹陷處）要輕踩油門，慢慢通過；遇到stop sign⛔要完全停止（最好停三秒再走）起步前注意左右來車! 然後是路邊停車（pull over），車子需平行路邊，且距離路邊18英寸內，停好車後，倒退直到考官說停，（記得一定看後方玻璃，以免有行人竄出，不看一樣會不過） 比較特別是因為我的車子有倒車螢幕，考官考前有提醒我：你可以看你的螢幕倒車，但不可以只依賴螢幕! 接著考官會說：好的 我們現在要繼續行駛囉! 停車後起步記得一樣打燈、看鏡、轉頭然後再出發(*'▽'*) 接著就慢慢開回DMV囉(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) 📍通過標準：考卷上是寫“To pass, you must have no more than 3 errors marked for item 9-14 under PRE-DRIVE CHECKLIST, no marks in the CRITICAL DRIVING ERROR section, and no more than 15 errors marked for the Scoring Maneuvers.”我最後是錯9個點，所以一樣是考過駕照了＊.*⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝*.＊（灑花） 📍錯誤點小檢討： 1.在某個右轉彎的時候，轉彎完考官問我：有人教過你轉彎前要先進入腳踏車道嗎 我：Not really...（其實有） 其實主要是考前，我娘一直跟我說不能匯入腳踏車道，不然會擋住腳踏車（ˊ·_·ˋ）我還跟他爭論很久，現在可見我是對的( ‘-ωก̀ ) 2.限速35的路，我開到38附近，考官就提醒我：這裡限速是35哦 ಠ_ಠ 於是之後限速25的地方我開20，回到DMV後考官：你剛剛開的有點慢哦ಠ_ಠ但還不至於危害到交通，所以你通過了! 我的進步欄也因此被勾了一個開太快跟一個開太慢ಠ_ʖಠ 3.剩下的錯誤就是一些：停車時與前車距離太近，太快起步，轉彎太窄或太寬，就是一些主觀的小細節，但不管怎樣，大家要記得開車還是安全第一噢(ˊ･ω･ ˋ) 📍心得： 這次DMV人多到我排了一個小時才排到（ˊ·_·ˋ），有人說考駕照很看考官，我第一次的考官非常友善，不過我就是直接在中間車道左轉彎了啊啊啊，他就算瞎了也知道不能讓我考過(;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)第二次的考官就很厭世，但穩穩的開還是過了(ﾟ∀。) 考前一個同學跟我說，他其實很慶幸他自己可以考兩次，因為當他回想，他覺得第一次去考試的自己真的不知道怎麼開車，因為第一次沒考過，才給他很多可以好好練習的機會👀! 我後來想想也許真的是這樣，「如果你會緊張，代表你知道你自己還沒準備好。」，考試也就只是這樣而已! 考不過就下次再來，天也不會塌（只是要多繳8$而已嗚嗚嗚ಥ_ಥ）那麼一次考不好，讓自己因此警惕而知道自己哪裡要改進，也許也不是一件多壞的事呀´･ᴗ･` - #drivingtest #drivingtestpassed #fullertondmv #駕照

I already love the food at @lebonfunk but what made it better was the company. Thank you so much @szeliang888 for organising our get-together with @blueskiescottonclouds, and scoring us those counter seats. As expected, the menu heaved with temptations in every form - some familiar to me, some not. Deciding what to order wasn’t made any easier after Chef-owner @keirin_buck shared that they had a few not-yet-on-there items too. After a quick discussion, our minds were made and the following is what we got to share: 1. NEW Snack: Tossed with watercress, shaved fennel, shishito peppers, preserved lemons and salt, was squid from the Basque Country. As it was from a big specimen, the pieces of squid were thick, meaty yet delightfully springy as they were cooked with care. 2. Chips, Caviar and French Onion Dip ($35) - This should come with a warning label because there is no stopping once you start. I blame it on the fermented potatoes - they really do become impossibly delicious chips. And when paired with the caviar-rich, light and creamy dip, it’s swoonworthy stuff. 3. Full Blood Wagyu Tartare ($39) - Of course, just when I thought the above was a match made in heaven, along came this knock-my-socks-off combo of coarsely-chopped fat-laced beef with fermented mushrooms, cornichons and a housemade hot sauce. Think of it as the previous combo deciding to beef up (pun intended 😁) good and proper to launch an even bigger assault on the senses in the best way. 4. NEW Pasta - This soon-to-be-launched dish was the lighter of the two pastas. Exuding summery vibes, it featured perfectly round and extremely flat ravioli in a broth of smoked carrot and butter with caramelised leek. Loved its freshness! 5. Lune Piene ($62) - The richer #pasta was sublime in its own way. Also appearing in the sauce made from artichoke juice, butter, black truffle were funky cheese and broccolini. Upping the indulgence factor was the topping of freshly shaved truffle. 6. Whole Heritage Chicken ($68) - I finally understood the fuss about #lebonfunk’s signature “The Claw” chicken because, believe it or not, I’d never eaten it before till last night 😂 ⬇️Continued in Comments⬇️
