Mysteriously scenting the air in the salons on that morning in 1947 when Monsieur Dior unveiled his revolutionary first collection, the 'Miss Dior' perfume, with its sensual chypre, is an ode to love and femininity. In 1949, it was the name of an exquisite dress completely embroidered in flowers, and in the 60s the name Marc Bohan gave the new ready-to-wear line reflecting the emancipation of women. With its engraved houndstooth motif bottle and dagger bow, its heady floral fragrance remains an eternal herald of spring.
