    英國國防大臣Ben Wallace嘅對指責嘅回應，就好似三角戀當中嘅勝利者角色安慰法國，即係得手嘅男人扮大體安慰帽已戴嘅對手嘅對白一樣。

    很高興台灣世代智庫，作為協辦單位，能夠有機會與國策院辦理台日2+2對話語台日中三角關係座談會。

    這一次台灣的國會議員、學者，與日方的國會議員，甚至是現任的副防衛大臣中山泰秀都參與這個民間的公開座談會，中山副大臣也提及重要的網路安全關係合作，強調挑戰不分國界（當然合作也是需要跨越國界的），甚至拿起地球儀，強調重要的地緣關係，跟此區域所存在的風險。

    除了上次的台日關係是兄弟，他再次提到兩國是命運共同體。如果上次兩國執政黨外交國防政策交流會，是重要的第一步，那接下來的第二步、每一步，都是加深關係的重要過程。

    Today I was honored to speak at an event co-hosted by the Institute for National Policy Research, Taiwan NextGen Foundation and the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy, the #Taiwan-#Japan-#China Triangular Relationship Panel, where I discussed recent breakthroughs in Taiwan-Japan relations. The dialogue was attended virtually by Japan’s Deputy Minister of Defense Nakayama Yasuhide (中山泰秀).

    The people of Japan and Taiwan have shared a friendship for many decades. The past year, however, has seen a significant development in the character of our friendship. From grassroots campaigns to support our economy, and efforts from Taiwanese businesses to support Japan’s industry — to new dialogues between elected officials, we are planting a flag and claiming space for this friendship to grow further.

    How would I describe this relationship in a sentence?

    Rock solid.
