Grow by Admitting Mistakes

“He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins will obtain mercy. [Ps. 32:3, 5; I John 1:8-10.] Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.” (Proverbs‬ ‭28:13-14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

Taking responsibility for mistakes does not mean bearing the condemnation and guilt. You can admit to being wrong and apologize, and be thankful that Jesus paid for your sin at the cross.

No need to dwell on the mistake and punish yourself, but even if there are consequences to admitting your mistakes, God is pleased when you are honest and will restore you for all the losses and hurt incurred.

Most importantly, you grow in character when you take the courageous and uncomfortable step of owning up to a mistake. This is a benefit that is priceless.

People will respect someone who dares to admit mistakes and flaws rather than someone who is cowardly; who always takes the easy way out which is to lie and escape responsibility.

The flesh will tempt you to conceal your mistakes for fear of punishment, but by the Holy Spirit, we can receive lion-like courage to tell the truth, even when it is difficult.

While the lie is small, put an end to it, and tell the truth. If it grows, the burden will be huge and the consequences will be worse too. Cut off the cancer before it spreads!

那些到提款機，做自我賜福法的人們，是否一一如願? 這就要視各人的福份而定了。

吾，玳瑚師父，在此稍提個建議，供大家參考參考。想要在自我賜福法中獲益的人：

一，先清舊債。
二，一心有錢出錢，有力出力，或錢與力同出的，做慈善及公益。
三，一心奉養父母。

积累福份的方法，是還有好一些的。以上所供大家參考的三項，若妳你都不要堅守，吾再教妳你其它的，就顯得多此一舉了。

别小看這三法，這三法也是自我賜福法。不同的在於，如法不如法。

When the new year comes around, long queues will form at ATM machines, creating a phemoneon known as the Street Wonder.

These people may not deposit huge amount of money, but they rather believe that it holds true than it does not. So on the commencement day of Spring or its eve, they would deposit some money to symbolise the inflow of money in the new year. This is the practice of self-bestowal of blessings.

Are they wrong?

If we want to talk about right and wrong, they are merely wrong about the source of good fortune and its affinity origin.

Those who went to the ATM machines to bestow blessings upon themselves, do they all get their wishes granted?

I, Master Dai Hu, has a suggestion here for every one of you to think about.

To gain from the self-bestowal of blessings:

1. Clear old debts.
2. Donate money when you have, and contribute physical effort when you can.Or give both money and effort for charity and public service.
3. Wait on and support both parents.

The methods to accumulate good fortune are more than these. The 3 ways I mentioned above for your reference, if you do not wish to hold fast to them, teaching you other ways will simply be unnecessary.

Do not underestimate these 3 ways. The only difference is whether they are in accordance with the universal laws.

Meaning of the name “Lemuel”: Belonging to God/ Devoted to God.

This chapter’s wisdom is for those who belong to God - believers in Jesus Christ.

God’s heart is to be the Defender of the defenseless.
He is on the side of those who see themselves as weak, not those who boast in their own strength.

“Open your mouth for the mute, For the rights of all who are unfortunate and defenseless; Open your mouth, judge righteously, And administer justice for the afflicted and needy.” (PROVERBS‬ ‭31:8-9‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

Proverbs 31 has 31 verses! Verses 10 to 31 is an acrostic poem: Each verse begins with each successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet -
This poem describes from beginning to the end of the qualities of a virtuous woman.
Jesus’ is the “Beginning and the End” - in Hebrew that is “Aleph Tav” (the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet) -
A man finds a virtuous wife like this when he is in Christ.
A God-given wife like this is a great blessing to a man.
Single men should pray for a wife like this, and single women should pray to be a woman like this.

“An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls. The heart of her husband trusts in her [with secure confidence], And he will have no lack of gain. She comforts, encourages, and does him only good and not evil All the days of her life.” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭31:10-12‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

This is the fifth verse of the acrostic poem - The first Hebrew letter corresponds with Hei (5) in Hebrew which represents grace.
When a man has a wife like this, he obtains grace: prosperity and provision abounds in his life.

“She is like the merchant ships [abounding with treasure]; She brings her [household’s] food from far away.” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭31:14‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

A virtuous woman is multi-talented, diligent and not lazy.
She is led by the Lord to bring income into her household on top of her parenting duties.
She does it all without complaining and has the grace for it so she doesn’t burn out from all the hard work.

“She looks for wool and flax And works with willing hands in delight.
She rises also while it is still night And gives food to her household And assigns tasks to her maids. She considers a field before she buys or accepts it [expanding her business prudently]; With her profits she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard. She equips herself with strength [spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task] And makes her arms strong. She sees that her gain is good; Her lamp does not go out, but it burns continually through the night [she is prepared for whatever lies ahead]. She stretches out her hands to the distaff, And her hands hold the spindle [as she spins wool into thread for clothing].
She makes for herself coverlets, cushions, and rugs of tapestry. Her clothing is linen, pure and fine, and purple [wool].
She makes [fine] linen garments and sells them; And supplies sashes to the merchants.
She looks well to how things go in her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness.”
‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭31:13, 15-19, 22, 24, 27‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

A virtuous woman does not need to seek affirmation or praise on her own because her actions will attract praises on their own.
She is focused on getting things done instead of wasting time worrying about what others think about her.
Everyone in her life: husband, children and people all esteem and hold her in high regard.

“The heart of her husband trusts in her [with secure confidence], And he will have no lack of gain. She comforts, encourages, and does him only good and not evil All the days of her life.
She opens her mouth in [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue [giving counsel and instruction].
Her children rise up and call her blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired); Her husband also, and he praises her, saying, “Many daughters have done nobly, and well [with the strength of character that is steadfast in goodness], But you excel them all.”
Give her of the product of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates [of the city].” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭31:11-12, 26, 28-29, 31‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

A virtuous woman’s heart is aligned with God - she is generous and cares for the poor and needy by blessing them with prayers, help and provisions.

“She opens and extends her hand to the poor, And she reaches out her filled hands to the needy.” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭31:20‬ ‭AMP‬)

God’s definition of a praiseworthy woman is not someone who is physically beautiful - that is not the number one priority.
God looks at the heart: a woman who loves and worships Jesus is a praiseworthy woman.

“Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.” ‭‭(PROVERBS‬ ‭31:30‬ AMP)
