喬今天要分享的是字彙”regard”的深入探討，這個字大部份人都見過，但是卻很少徹底的分析它的意思與用法，喬今天就跟各位分享一下自己整理的筆記：

【regard的動詞意思】
(1) 把…當成
[to consider or think of in a specified way]
* regard A as B 把A當成B
例: I regard every assignment as a challenge.
例: They regarded his behavior as childish.

(2) 關心
[to relate to; concern]
例: The news does not regard the explosion.
這新聞不關心那爆炸事件

(3) 尊重; 顧慮
[to have or show respect or concern for]
* to regard highly 器重

(4) 看重
[to think highly of; esteem]

(5) 觀察; 觀看
[to look at; observe]
例: She regarded him with amusement.

(6) 對於..抱持..(的感情)

你們怎麼吃義大利麵？正確方式只能用叉子噢！

在西方國家有很多用餐禮儀,有些地方特色料理甚至讓人摸不著頭緒該怎麼吃～以下是比較常見旅遊時會吃的東西,先學起來我們就不會慌張或是鬧出笑話啦！

當初在吃法國的鍋牛時,還特別詢問了朋友到底該怎麼吃,拿了工具研究了老半天.......原來是用工具夾起鍋牛,再用特殊叉子插起來吃～通常在西班牙,只要點了酒服務生通常會送上一小碟東西像是堅果給你配著吃,雖有時店家會免費給tapas吃,但通常你想吃tapas的話,是需要付錢的～

義大利麵我相信大家都以為是用叉子卷在湯匙上吃吧,看起來也真的很優雅啊！但是沒想到圖片上的解說竟然只能用叉子在盤子邊順時鐘捲麵,而且不能切斷義大義麵,吃的時候也儘量別吸得太大聲像吃拉麵喔～(我的義大利同學真的可以三餐吃義大利麵沒有問題)

有次我的德國朋友在吃螞蟻上樹時(冬粉),可愛的她竟然用叉子捲在湯匙上吃啦XDD還好Fabian從小吃慣中國料理,快子拿得超級好的！

How do you eat spaghetti? The correct way is to eat with a fork.

In western countries there are lots of table manners. Sometimes ppl even get confused how to eat some special dishes. The following are explanations of some common dishes in Westerns. We can learn them now and we won't be panicked or feel embarrassed when we eat them.

When I was in Paris, we ordered a pot of snails. But I didn't know how to eat. It turns out that we need s special tool to pick up the snail. Then use a small fork to take out the snail to eat. In Spain, when we order wine or alcohol, the bartender will bring you sth like nuts or small tapas. However, don't try to eat as many as free food you get from them, it looks not too nice. Normally when you ask for tapas, you have to pay for it.

Now comes to spaghetti, ppl normally eat them with fork and spoon. However, the correct way is to eat only with a fork. Twist a small bundle of spaghetti clockwise against the side of your dish. Then put it into your mouth and chew. Never try to cut pasta with the side of fork. Also, try not to make slurping sound when you suck in pasta. (My Italien classmate can eat pasta three meals a day lol)
