尖沙咀 海防道熟食中心開番, 決定先寫最需要解釋的「鴻記茶檔」. The newly reopened TST HaiPhong Road Wet Market Cooked Food Centre reopened. Pick 1st Shop to write about hmmm..., okay.. when I noticed this shop's 蝦米辣椒油 Dried Shrimps Chili Oil sauce 🦐🌶 , past regulars will recall memories yet this shop's name is unfamiliar. Well it's because after 3 Generations of running & after the renovation, they have decided to rename it from the famous「仁利粥麵家」to「鴻記」in 2020, the latter being the Father's name.. (don't ask me which Generation in the family lol 😂).

Personally the Shrimps Chili is very spicy, to the point its almost gimmicky as at least my tongue can't really taste the Shrimps anymore. However the 柱侯牛腩牛筋 Zhuhou sauce style Beef & Tendons here are nice, and the soup base has a nice touch of aged tangerine peel 果皮 within. It's probably not my No.1 beloved shop here but in hindsight, it's more sophisticated than many similar shops in town! 😬❤️
