美中兩國公布貿易協議第一階段文本。美國的英文原文，每一段，都強調第一個字：Recognizing, Realizing, Convinced, Acknowledging...
這幾個字，以大楷字母打出，一字如一鐵鎚，有鏗鏘的節奏與力量。
但中文文本，並無相應字眼的粗黑體強調。而且Recognizing 和 Realizing ，中文本都一樣譯為「認識到」，而忽略了英文原文兩個字層次之不同。
Recognize 是「認識」， Realize 是「體會」，後者比前者深刻。
I recognise this man.
與 I realised that I have been deceived by this man. 兩者的意思是不同的。
文本的第一大段，美方監察中譯，似乎有點粗心大意。

Japanese daily #SankeiShimbun recently published an exclusive interview with President Tsai Ing wen on their front page, in which the President shared her views on #CrossStraitRelations, #Taiwan-#US relations, Taiwan-#Japan relations, and Taiwan's economic and trade prospects .
President Tsai stated that Taiwan’s continued existence is important for several reasons:
🔺Taiwan’s #democracy and #freedom are indispensable to the geopolitical order.
🔺Taiwan's #HighTech industries occupy a key position in the world.
🔺Taiwan’s persistence in recognizing the value of democracy and #HumanRights serves as a global model.
It’s critical to get an accurate idea of Taiwan’s importance and to share this with the world.
President Tsai also reiterated Taiwan’s position on regional #security and #stability, emphasizing that as a responsible stakeholder in the region, Taiwan is willing to conduct meaningful #dialogue on security issues and cooperate with all parties involved in the region as long as it contributes to #peace and stability and spurs development in the region.
