Extreme heat and wildfires continued to plague parts of southern Europe on Wednesday, a day after the top temperature in Greece reached 47.1 degrees Celsius (117 degrees Fahrenheit) -- just shy of the highest ever recorded in Europe.

Debates about transgender rights have raged most angrily in the Anglophone world, but they are now intensifying across Europe. Last month the Spanish parliament voted against a bill that would allow people to determine their own gender. A day later Germany’s voted down two such bills. Few newspapers took any notice.

Self-id, as it is known, is the idea that people be allowed to change the legal markers of their sex simply by saying so, without jumping through any medical hoops. Trans-rights groups say this is crucial for trans people, who face daily prejudice. In Germany one of the bills, put forward by the Green Party, proposed that children be allowed to have gender-reassignment surgery from the age of 14, even if parents oppose it. It would also have introduced a fine of €2,500 ($3,045) for referring to a trans person based on their natal sex.

在端午節前夕（6/13），台灣跳舞場景即將攜手合作，為勞苦功高的醫護人員發聲。這場線上直播活動訂於下午兩點開始，由B1、CÉ LA VI Dayclub、Our Muzik、EVAPORATE、basika、以及台灣各地的DJ們輪番上陣，長達13小時。
　
在表演同時，我們將進行慈善募款。活動結束後，募得款項會全額轉交給新北市的「衛福部雙和醫院 」，讓款項專用於對抗疫情的前線醫護戰士們。
　
讓我們再一次向世人展現台灣瑞舞客的愛。這是為我們自己，也是為我們的同胞。6月13日，我們線上見。

This online livestream event is scheduled to start at2pm and will be hosted by B1, CÉ LA VI Dayclub, Our Muzik, EVAPORATE, basika, and as well as DJs from all over Taiwan for 13 hours straight.
　
While you get to enjoy great music, we will conduct a charity fundraiser. After the event,100% of donations raised will be transferred to the "Shuangho Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare" in New Taipei City, so that the funds will be dedicated to these brave frontline medical soldiers fighting the epidemic.
