【原住民X運動 迷思大考驗！】
小編以為這件事應該是大家的常識了，沒想到在最近總統盃慢壘全國賽的報導裡，仍然看到了「原住民同學運動能力強、體能條件佳」這樣塑造刻板印象的句子，改成「本校某誰誰誰運動能力強、體能條件佳」不也可以很好的嘉獎個人及團體嗎。
而更令小編訝異的，是幾年前那篇把研究推論當結論的，關於阿美族人與米田堡血型的報導，竟然被堂而皇之的放進了尖端出版的《臺灣 沒說你不知道：生活在這塊土地的你可以拿來說嘴的七十則冷知識》，而標題是令人恐慌的〈原住民體能厲害有原因！秘密藏在血液裡〉。
我們當然希望遺傳研究能更全面的解開我們對自身的理解，但如蔡友月告訴我們的，若我們「相信種族間的基因差異是真實的，且可被用來解釋不同種族在疾病上的差異，形成了「科學的種族主義」（scientific racialism）與一種「種族化」的謬誤，因而將種族概念的顯著性極大化，忽略某些行為特徵、疾病背後更複雜的環境因素與政治經濟過程的影響。」
原住民族人需要的是主權及集體文化權的回復，從部落跟文化的根出發，而不是被侷限在特定的職涯選項、甚至被偽科學形成的偏見與歧視限制了生命經驗的理解，從這一刻開始，希望我們都能從迷思裡逃脫，去思考一個更平等、更把原住民當人看的友善環境。

In government, good policy and good politics cannot be separated neatly and absolutely. The Singapore system needs both to work. Our political leaders and senior civil servants play different roles, but they must share the same fundamental values and ideals — like meritocracy, multi-racialism and clean government — and the same major premises about Singapore.
Our politics and policies have worked constructively together to bring us to SG50. We have to keep this virtuous circle going so that political leaders and the civil service can work hand in hand to lead Singapore forward.
I spoke on this at yesterday’s Administrative Service dinner and promotion ceremony. I trust the Admin Officers will serve with commitment and integrity, and make a difference to Singapore and our citizens.

One year ago, Mr Lee Kuan Yew and PAP pioneer leaders joined us in a special celebration of the Party’s 60th anniversary at Victoria Memorial Hall (on.fb.me/1uIRery).
A lot has happened in the year since. The People's Action Party has won a renewed mandate from the people.
