日前查看qualification時碰到其中一個解釋 想不出哪一個中文解釋比較合
上來請教一下各位
請問qualification 第4個解釋的中文翻譯應該是什麼?

若是保留的話則LDOCE用的字 reservation 要比cambridge 的addition要好因為cambridge解釋是加入的東西使意義較不確定，這似乎跟我們一般對 保留的看法
不太一樣 因為 保留 不應該是addition to something吧?
那應該是要照LDOCE 的講法 來看 是不是會比較好了解? 但是OALD好像比較偏Cambridge
的講法OALD: 3 [countable, uncountable]

但看來看去 還是LDOCE的reservation 比較淺顯易懂，但就算解釋是"保留"沒錯
英語中的保留怎麼會是addition to smething 或information that you add
to a statement
保留跟 addition 有啥關係啊? 真奇怪

請問polylemma，qualification跟會計 的關聯是什麼?因為你提到"會計上" 我不太懂qualification跟會計是不是有特別關係?
不過polylemma大大提的 "保留意見" 似乎跟這個解釋很合，qualification
應該是"保留的意見"中的"意見"，因為中文的"意見"是可以外加的，如"你對這件事
有沒有其他想補充(add)的意見?" priv 大大也點出了 用法類似中文的"保留"但不等同，
個人覺得"額外的/保留的意見" 似乎是很不錯的解釋，
不知這樣的解釋 各位覺得可以嗎?

"但書" 某種程度上 應該也是說的通，但是注意到 這三本字典的英英解釋都是負面的，會使原本意思變得較不確定，或是限制其原始意義。
可是中文的"但書"似乎並沒有特別負面的意思，中文的"但書" 講的可能是額外的條件
或狀況或條件 可能是負面的也可能是單純附加的條款，本身不一定是會使原始意思產
生不確定性。 這點 大家如何看?

感謝polyemma 其所提供的資料來看 應該可以解釋為 "具負面性/限制性的但書"手上剛好有OALD 4版的雙語版 上面寫的是"對前述言語或文字所限制的條件"

因為我還有另一個字的定義想釐清 是有關法律方面的字
