Canggu was our first stop in Bali, and we couldn't have chosen a quainter town!
With great food, cute and quiet(er) streets, as well as lovely villas you can rent, you can relax and chill or head to the nearby temples.
We did a half-day trip to Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot, and despite the gloomy weather, we had a good time visiting the sights and taking photos
Nitty-gritty info:
1) We rented Villa Oasis 74 on AirBnB - which is the villa you see with a private pool
2) Smoothie Bowl is from The Shady Shack Bali
3) Lunch at Green Spot Cafe Bali
4) The half-day trip costs 400,000 rupiahs per car, and we were picked up at 2:00pm. We could have watched the sunset at Tanah Lot but given the weather, we decided to give it a miss and headed back to Canggu early before the traffic jam begins!
