現在只有三個理論在推測

1️⃣ #雙重歷程（Dual processing）
大腦一次接收多種感官資訊的方式是將各種小細節平行接收＆同時分析，如果任何一個小細節的資訊傳送delay了，你的大腦就會被騙，以為資訊delay的那個片段是分開的事件，讓你誤以為曾經歷過一模一樣的事情。

2️⃣ #全息原理（Hologram theory）
當你經歷的某一瞬間和曾經體驗過的某場景有相似的元素時，你的大腦可能會斷章取義，只看一小部分就將整個場景定義為「熟悉」，讓你以為你經歷過一樣的事情。

3️⃣注意力分散（Divided attention）
如果多種感官同時接受刺激，但你卻因為不自覺的分心而只注意到某幾個部分的話，當你回過神來、注意到其他的感官刺激的時候，你可能會有「以前好像有經歷過一樣的事情」的感覺，但那只是因為你剛剛分心了。

下次再有既視感的時候
不妨分析看看自己可能是因為哪種原因而有這個感覺吧！

The gong looks so familiar, doesn't it? We've probably seen it in TVB dramas. Traditional costume dramas. When some Kung Fu guy performs a stunt, like lying on a bench with a flat rock atop his chest, getting hit by another guy with a sledgehammer, a promoter standing near them will hit his gong hard and loud, repeatedly, telling people to come and watch. Can we all recall that sound? Yes? Well, I'm not sure it can effectively calm the mind. If anything, it creates fright. Even if someone hits the gong gently, the sound is still jarring and unpleasant. I can imagine I'll get so tensed up 'sinking in' the gong bath, does anyone feel differently?
