The CNY feasting continues, but with it, comes the pompousness and arrogance of the delusional few who, after splurging on an extravagant meal, spewing out mantras for every kind of superlative in their lives, feel it appropriate to deride those who don't have the luxury of dreaming of similar comforts. Is it so difficult to thank service staff who work through the holidays so that your belly is full? Is it so difficult to show patience to the valet who takes a little longer to locate the keys to your Mercedes? Instead you yell, because your time is precious, throwing exact change, not a cent more, in the face of the man who works in the heat, probably for meagre wages, so that you, with your full belly, won't have to roll a few extra steps to your car. Happy CNY? Maybe for some.
