Year 2020 Sept, Apple announced a brand new silicon M1 chip for their Macbook Pro & Air, Mac Mini and iMac 24".... It's a very fast and powerful processor, but however most of the Retouching software ain't native support with M1, which might cause the performance down a little bit and some issues even if you are running top spec.

Today one of the best retouching software Capture One announced a new update, there is no new feature added-in from pervious update version, but finally......... IT IS NOW NATIVE SUPPORT on M1.

Capture One 21 update release v14.1

There was an announce before the v14.1 release, except it now supported the GFX100S raw file and tethering function, also X-E4 raw.

And there are more in it.

1. New enhanced about importing images
Capture One had improved the layout of the import function, it adds the preview windows to allow check out those images before importing inside the catalog, this will speed up your images selection time.

2. Style Brushes (for Pro version)
In v14.1, new feature “Style Brushes”. Which allow you to edit your photos in more details, there are many default brushes builded-in for shadow, highlight, skin tone even more….

3. Zoom in resolution.
Nowadays, all about HD, users had upgraded their monitor to 4K or even more 8K too. In the pervious version, Capture One can zoom up to 400% only, you cannot see more with your 102MP camera images on a 4K monitor. But on v14.1 upgrade, now you can zoom in your image up to 1600%, for those using 4K or up monitor users would be very happy about it.

This is more than just update for supporting new cameras, Capture One had made another big move on retouching function, good work!!!
