For those asking what’s the weird, ball-looking plant thing I was DIY-ing yesterday, it’s called a “Kokedama” a form of plant art originating from Japan that looks so zen🧘🏻‍♀️ Koke = moss 🌱 Dama = ball 🏀 Bff bought the kit from @matural_penang as a gift to cheer me up ❤️ It arrived pretty fast, and came in cool DIY box kit filled with the Kokedama making material such as Keto Soil (peat), Sphagnum Moss, perlite, fertiliser, 3 rolls of thread, base, plant care car and Kokedama instructional video card (swipe to see pics) 👉 Oh it also comes with a plant. I choose the Asparagus Fern since I didn’t have that one yet. They have 20 choices for u. The kit costs from RM88 depending on plant type u pick. Free MCO delivery for west msia 📦 It took me about an hour to make this 90% on twirling the moss ball with the thread (tbh I was sceptical it would turn out good but it did!) 😆 Was fun, I was doing this on my balcony while waiting for the sunset 🌅 Not bad for my 1st Kokedama eh?! Makes a really nice gift for a plant parent to add a unique pot-less decorative plant at home. To water just soak the ball in water, drain and place back. P.S: Don’t worry about killing your Kokedama. It comes with a plant guide to help u. Dm the shop for help too.
