同食友講起, 我地又提及到其實 '新 #店小二 ' 比較起以前街市舊舖第一代已經略有不及, 尤其是食物特色. 更何況直接同始祖 '#東寶小館' 比？ 近年已經少反嚟雖然自己都住北角, 但興起忽然大家又有興致再來一趟食下飯..

I think #TungPo polarizes people, some think it is pretentious & the 5% Service Charge is slightly offending, its clichéd, its aimed at tourists especially after being aired by Anthony Bourdain back in the days. Some, even the locals, think it is a fun place to hang out at perched on top of a wet market, reminiscent of the good old Dai Pai Dong days but almost on steroids..!

From a Food Perspective alone, I have always admired their character & creativity in Cantonese cuisine. Sure not every dish works. But if this Prawns Toast recipe was actually a 10 out of 10 in terms of taste, rather than the 7.5/10 level it is at now. Everybody else would have been out of business already lol 🤭🤣🤣

You got to admire different people for what they are n represent.. 👀

The beautiful Loches Castle, situated in Loire Valley, France, was built in the 12th century and is perched 500 meters above the Indre River. Today the castle is a museum, which contains one of the best collections of medieval armor in France!

Perched on the hillside in the west of Hong Kong Island is the 200-year-old Pokfulam Village, home to the city’s first dairy farm. As one of the cultural heritage sites at risk listed in the 2014 World Monuments Watch, the village was first mentioned in the Xinan County Journal during the Kangxi period in 1819. Today, it is still famed for its Fire Dragon Dance held every Mid-Autumn Festival, with its incense-lit dragons believed to have driven away a plague over a century ago.

Nigel Ko, member of the Pokfulam Village Cultural Landscape Conservation Group, says the shabby tin-roofed huts are home to numerous stories of community and kindness, but the true history of the village remains a mystery after all these years.

พระธาตุอินทร์แขวน หรือ ไจทีโย ɕaiʔ sɔeʔ Kyaikhtiyo ในภาษามอญ หมายความว่า หินรูปหัวฤๅษี พระธาตุอินทร์แขวนตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองไจโท (Kyaikto) อำเภอสะเทิม เขตรัฐมอญของประเทศพม่า บนยอดเขาพวงลวง เหนือระดับน้ำทะเล 3,615 ฟุต ลักษณะเด่นของพระธาตุอินทร์แขวนคือ มีลักษณะเป็นก้อนหินสีทองขนาดใหญ่สูง 5.5 เมตร ตั้งอยู่บนหน้าผาสูงชันอย่างหมิ่นเหม่ เหมือนจะหล่นและท้าทายแรงดึงดูดของโลกโดยไม่ตกลงมาอย่างเหลือเชื่อ พระธาตุอินทร์แขวนนับเป็น 1 ใน 5 สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่ชาวพม่าต้องไปสักการะ และยังเป็นพระธาตุประจำปีจอ ที่คนเกิดปีนี้ต้องไปนมัสการสักครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต
Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, pronounced: [tɕaiʔtʰíjó pʰəjá]; Mon:, [tɕaiʔ sɔeʔ jɜ̀], also known as Golden Rock) is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State, Burma. It is a small pagoda (7.3 metres (24 ft)) built on the top of a granite boulder covered with gold leaves pasted on by devotees. According to legend, the Golden Rock itself is precariously perched on a strand of the Buddha's hair. The balancing rock seems to defy gravity, as it perpetually appears to be on the verge of rolling down the hill. The rock and the pagoda are at the top of Mt. Kyaiktiyo. It is the third most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Burma after the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Mahamuni Pagoda. A glimpse of the "gravity defying" Golden Rock is believed to be enough of an inspiration for any person to turn to Buddhism.[
