◆ Job description:
Translate English website content, software content, newsletters, video subtitles, promotions into Traditional Chinese. Most content is about online Poker, Sportsbook, and Casino games. You would be assigned many small jobs on a daily basis, and occasionally bigger projects. Small jobs usually need to be finished in a day or two.
Excellent Chinese writing skills is essential, and your translation would need to be written in a style that is consistent to the existing content.
◆ Compensation:
- Depending on your experience, work quality and the compatibility of your working hours to the UK team.
◆ Trial Period:
1~3 month.
◆ Requirements:
MUST HAVE:
- ZHT native speaker
- At least 3 years experience as a full-time E-C translator OR equivalent experience
- Ability to work self-sufficient and under tight deadlines
- Good internet connection
- Excellent Chinese writing skills (essential)
- Great attention to detail (essential)
SHOULD HAVE:
- Good poker / online gaming knowledge (Poker, Casino, Sports)
- Experience with translation memory systems ( familiar with TRADOS would be a plus)
- Training/education as translator
◆ Working hour: 40 hours a week (8 hours a day) on a REGULAR basis. Flexible hours, but it must overlap 9:00~18:00 UK time as much as possible. Even possible a contract with the company - so please keep that in mind before answering.
◆ Location: Work from home (or anywhere you prefer!)
