This town was once home for hundreds of german families and ovambo workers. When I stepped out of the car and walked towards the buildings, I heard nothing but the sound of my footsteps on the sand, it’s the weird and uncomfortable kind of silence that makes you wonder what stories this place have to offer. It’s hard to imagine how life is in the 1920s, when it’s still full of life. Today, not a single living soul lives here anymore, there’s nothing left but the skeleton of the buildings waiting to be swallowed by the dunes. #luderitz #namibia
