Snake ต้องต่อสู้ในห้องเย็นกับ Raven และเอาชนะได้
ก่อนตาย Raven ได้บอกใบ้ให้ว่าหัวหน้าหน่วยงาน DARPA ที่ ฆืฟาำ เห็นหัวใจวายต่อหน้าเขานั้น จริงๆ แล้วคือ Decoy Octopus ปลอมตัว
เขาได้พูดถึงเส้นทางที่ Snake เลือกเดิน ว่าในเส้นทางนี้จะมีการฆ่าฟันไม่จบสิ้น และบอกว่า Solid Snake กับ Liquid Snake มาจากโลกที่เขาไม่คิดอยากจะรู้จัก
Raven กลายเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกับธรรมชาติตามที่เขาบอก โดยยืนให้ฝูง Raven จิกกินทั้งตัว
Master Miller ติดต่อหา Snake บอกว่าสิ่งที่ Naomi พูดเป็นเรื่องโกหกทั้งหมด และเริ่มสงสัยในตัว Naomi
Otacon พยายามแฮคเข้าไปดูข้อมูลของประธาน Baker และผมว่าอาวุธนิวเคลียร์ชนิดใหม่นี้ คือหัวรบนิวเคลียร์ที่ยิงได้จาก rail gun และไม่สามารถตรวจกับได้โดยเรดาร์
Snake มาได้ยิน Liquid กับ Ocelot คุยกันในห้องควมคุม ว่า Liquid จะสานต่อความฝันของ Big Boss และจากนี้ให้เรียกเกาะนี้ว่า Outer Heaven
Otacon ติดต่อมาอีกทีบอกว่ารู้วิธีใช้คียการ์ด แต่ Ocelot เห็น Snake และยิงคียการ์ดตกร่องน้ำไป
