我和第一任是在"接客滴"上認識的，當時我在西門的憲兵隊當兵，他也住在西門，在我生日的時候還特別來探親，帶了卡片和蛋糕給我，那時真的超級感動，感覺很像談戀愛的高中生，在身心俱疲的當兵期間，他給予了我許多安慰。

他是來自英國的白人，故鄉是在牛津附近的城市阿賓頓，個頭比我矮一點，天生淺棕色捲髮，有著一個顯眼的大鼻子，當時他來台灣當英文老師，簽約/生活一年，在認識他之前，我才剛和朋友們說：「我絕對不會和來台灣教英文的外籍人士交往。」殊不知馬上中標。

藝術學院畢業的他也是藝術愛好者，我們第一次約會是在北美館，當時我穿著黑色裙裝，戴了花俏的圓帽和太陽眼鏡，他後來跟我說第一次看到我的時候，他就在內心對自己說:"I can't fuck this one up."，畢竟他以語言交換為由，在台灣也是認識了許多在地男子，而我算是其中難得的認真對象；他會彈吉他，因為覺得他們補習班的教材太爛了，所以會自己編寫歌曲帶小朋友唱歌，但他的助教討厭死他這樣了。

他為自己起的中文名字叫："小老虎"，我和朋友聽到無不哈哈大笑，不過他自己倒是很喜歡，雖然在台灣只有一年的時間，不過他非常努力學習中文，每次去飲料店，都會像背誦咒語一樣講出：「綠茶微糖微冰。」，還會唱兩首阿妹的歌。

當初是他介紹我看Rupaul's Drag Race的，也鼓勵我去WERK時變裝去玩，他本身也會變裝，還會做衣服，我最喜歡他的表演是全身穿膚色緊身衣，臉上戴臉基尼，表演獅子王的主題曲，以及演唱自創曲："讓我們永遠不要有小孩"。

小老虎有很多怪奇之處，比如說他會吃別人剩下的食物，像是麥當勞垃圾桶上面，其他客人沒有倒進去，遺留在托盤上的薯條；他會在路上突然開始唱起自創的歌曲，然後手舞足蹈。他是零號，做愛的時候完全不會發出聲音，而且會面無表情的盯著我看，其實有些嚇人。

虎尾被稱為「布袋戲的故鄉」，而布袋戲，則是很多台灣人童年的共同記憶，想要了解布袋戲的歷史，一定要去拜訪雲林布袋戲館。
Huwei has been called the home of traditional puppet theatre in Taiwan. Many Taiwanese remember glove puppets,from their childhoods, but to really understand the history of this art form, you’ll have to visit the Yunlin Glove Puppetry Museum.

布袋戲一開始在台灣，扮演著酬謝神明和娛樂大眾的角色，盛行於傳統的廟會中，到後來，這項民俗技藝，演變成了新興的文化產業，這些過程，在館內的展示都可以看的到。
Glove puppet theatre started out in Taiwan as a way of thanking the gods and entertaining the general public at traditional temple festivals. Later on , the folk art performances were revitalizing the genre. That evolution is all on display at the museum.

要操作布袋戲，其實很簡單，你只要用食指控制它的頭，姆指和中指控制它的雙手，像這樣，然後就可以編織出屬於你自己的故事囉。
Controlling the glove puppets is actually pretty easy. Using your forefinger to move the head, and your thumb and middle finger to move the arms, like this,then you can act out your own stories.

布袋戲讓人著迷的地方，在於它的栩栩如生，而在虎尾，還有一個標榜著「以假亂真」的地方...
One of the fascinating parts of glove puppet theatre is how its master performers make it seem so lifelike. There’s one particular place in Huwei that prides itself on passing off the fake as genuine.

這是蛋糕、這個是三明治，但是千萬不要放到嘴巴裡，因為它們都是毛巾做的...
This is a cake, and this is a sandwich, but don’t put them in your mouth, because they’re made out of towels!

在這裡，原本平凡無奇的毛巾，一個個都化身成超萌的療癒小物，彷彿就像是被施了魔法一般。
Here, regular-looking towels have been changed into a variety of objects by something almost like magic. Now, you guess which one is real

妳猜猜哪一個是真的蛋糕 ？
Now, you guess which one is real?

哪一個… 我想… 不是…是這個！
Real…I think…no…this one

妳答錯了！you are wrong!

怎麼可能？What?

這個才是真的蛋糕！This is the real!

我不相信？What?

雖然現場可以看到毛巾變身的過程，但是仍然無法滿足我的好奇心。
Displays let you see each step in the towels’ transformation,But it still wasn’t enough to satisfy my curiosity.

現在我要做一件煞風景的事，就是把它拆開....
I’m going to spoil the fun and open one up…

哇！真的是毛巾耶... 好奇心殺死貓，這句話說的一點都沒錯...
Wow! It really is a towel… Curiosity killed the cat, there’s no doubting that.

虎尾這兩個字，在中文的意思，指的是老虎的尾巴，這地名由來有很多種說法，雖然跟老虎都沒有關係，但是這裡還是有　很多小村莊，非常值得逛一逛。
The word “Huwei” in Chinese literally means the tail of a tiger. None of the several explanations for how Huwei got it’s name actually involve a tiger, but it’s still fascinating to explore Huwei’s many small villages.

這個彩繪村叫做「屋頂上的貓」，一開始，為了改變農村單調的景色，兩個電影看板畫師，把過世的流浪貓彩繪在牆壁上，沒想到竟然變成了台灣相當熱門的拍照景點。
This village of murals is called “cat on a roof.” In the beginning, to give the village a bit more flavor, two movie billboard artists painted some wall murals of wild cats they knew who had passed away. They didn’t expect that the place would become attract photographers from across Taiwan.

救命啊！我快要融化了～
Help! My heart is about to melt!

也因為太受歡迎的緣故，這裡現在還增加了兩個主題，讓大家一次拍個夠。
Because of its overwhelming popularity, the village later set up two attractions for visitors to go and shoot photos to their hearts’ content.

現在我要參觀另一個彩繪村，這個彩繪村有什麼特別的？就是這裡只有兩個顏色「白色」和「紅色」。
Now, I’m going to see another village of murals. What’s special about this one is that the murals only use two colors –white and red.

北溪彩繪剪紙藝術村，是虎尾科技大學的駐校藝術家，帶領了四十位學生，所共同創造出來的作品，大紅色的剪紙圖案，彩繪在白牆，讓樸實的農村，充滿了喜氣洋洋的幸福感。
Beixi Mural and Papercutting Art Village is arists in residence at National Formosa University led 40 students in making this work. Their red papercut motif mounted on a white wall has enlivened this sleepy farmers’ village.

今年是雞年，所以當然要跟雞拍一張照片！
This is the Year of the Rooster, so of course I’m going to pose for a picture with the rooster!

虎尾是一個適合放慢腳步、輕鬆玩的地方，有機會的話，你一定要親身來感受一下。

●ピーマン：4個
●片栗粉：大さじ2（米粉、小麦粉、コーンスターチでもOK）
●ウインナー：1袋
●お好みのとろけるチーズ：お好み量
●ナンプラー：小さじ1（醤油でもOK）
●めんつゆ（3~4倍濃縮）：小さじ1/2
●おろしにんにく：小さじ1/2
●おろし生姜：小さじ1/2
●豆板醤：小さじ1/2（コチュジャンでもOK）
●米油（普通の油、胡麻油でもOK）
●ブラックペッパー
※辛いのが苦手な方は豆板醤を普通の味噌にしてもOK
※ナンプラーが苦手な方は醤油に変更してもOK

[やみつき納豆だれ]
●納豆：2個
●ごま油：小さじ1~小さじ2
●お好みのポン酢：小さじ2（ポン酢が好きな方はもっと入れても美味しいよ）
●大葉：5枚
●万能ねぎ：お好み量
●お好みで、ラー油、唐辛子、豆板醤、ミョウガ、卵

『やみつきピーマン焼き』と『やみつき納豆だれ』を作りました。
ピーマン嫌いのうちの子がこれだけはバクバク食べてくれる！と何度も言って頂けたり
こんなやみつきな納豆料理初めて食べた…とこちらも何度も言って頂けてる
食べた人全員にレシピを聞かれるくらいの自慢のレシピです♪
どちらも個別で食べても最高に美味しいんですが
一緒に食べるともうヤバイんです🤤
今まで食べた事ないような最高にやみつきな料理になってて
ピーマンと納豆がマジ無限に食べれちゃいます♪
しかも、高たんぱく質、栄養もたっぷりなのに低糖質！！
糖質制限ダイエットされている方や筋トレされている方にもオススメだと思います。
作り方は混ぜて焼くだけ♪
とっても簡単なので是非作ってみて下さい。
栄養を沢山摂って暑い夏を皆で元気に乗り切りましょう♪

[Ingredients]
● Green pepper: 4 pieces
● Potato starch: 2 tablespoons (rice flour, wheat flour, cornstarch can also be used)
● Sausage: 1 bag
● Melted cheese of your choice: as much as you like
● Nam Pla: 1 teaspoon (you can also use soy sauce)
● Noodle soup: 1/2 teaspoon (3 to 4 times concentrated)
● Grated garlic: 1/2 teaspoon
● Grated ginger: 1/2 teaspoon
● Dou ban jiang: 1/2 teaspoon (gochujang is also fine)
● Rice oil (regular oil or sesame oil can be used)
● Black pepper
※ If you don't like spicy food, you can use regular miso instead of Dou ban jiang.
※ If you don't like Nam Pla, you can use soy sauce.

[Natto sauce]
● Natto: 2 pieces
● Sesame oil: 1 to 2 teaspoons
● 2 teaspoons of your favorite ponzu (if you like ponzu, you can add more)
● 5 shiso leaves
● Scallion: as desired
● Raayu, chili pepper, soy sauce, myoga, egg, to taste

Today's recipe is the best way to eat green pepper and natto! Today I made “Addictive Green Pepper Korean Pancake” and “Yummy Natto Sauce”.
Some people said to me “My son, who doesn't like green peppers, eats this one up!” or “I've never had such an addictive natto dish…”
And I'm so proud of this recipe that everyone who has tried it has asked me for the recipe ♪
Both of these recipes taste great when eaten individually, but when eaten together, they're just too good.
It's the most addictive dish I've ever had, and you can eat endless amounts of green peppers and natto ♪
It's also high in protein and nutrients, yet low carb!
It is also a good choice for those who are on a carbohydrate-restricted diet and for those who are doing muscle training.
All you have to do is mix and bake ♪
It is very easy to make, so please try making it.
