Taiwán solicitó ingresar oficialmente al Tratado Integral y Progresista de Asociación Transpacífico (TIPAT, o CPTPP, siglas en inglés) el día 22 de septiembre bajo el nombre de “Territorio Aduanero Distinto de Taiwán, Penghu, Kinmen y Matsu”, después de que China hiciera lo mismo el día 16.

Multilateral cuyo objetivo es incrementar negocios y mercados de las Partes.
CPTPP於2018年在六個締約國中正式生效，至今為止已累積11會員國。CPTPP為一種多邊自由貿易協定，其目的為開放市場及促進締約國貿易量。
Para poder entrar en el TIPAT, Taiwán tendrá que obtener el permiso de estos once miembros, lo cual sería un problema para Taiwán, ya que otro solicitante, China, se opondrá la entrada de Taiwán pidiendo a todo el mundo que acate el principio de una sola china.

A nivel global, Taiwán exportó mercancías por 346,634 millones de dólares en 2020, lo que representó un 2% de las ventas externas mundiales, un alza interanual de 5%, según datos de la Organización Mundial de Comercio (OMC).

Según la ministra de Economía, Taiwán obtendrá un beneficio económica más de 2% si logramos adherirse al TIPAT. Sin embargo, industrias como agricultura y partes de vehículo sufrirán un mayor impacto.
根據經濟部長所說，台灣如獲准加入CPTPP將會得到超過2%的經濟效益。但是如農業及汽車零件等產業將會受到較大衝擊。

La nueva estrella de tenis de mesa de Taiwán,Lin Yun-ju (林昀儒), perdió en dos épicas semifinales contra sus rivales alemán y chino, logrando un cuarto lugar en el tenis de mesa masculino de los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokyo.
台灣桌球新星林昀儒 @lin__yun_ju_ 在兩場史詩級戰役輸給德國跟中國選手後，在本次東京奧運取下桌球男單世界第四佳績。
Lin es conocido como el “Asesino Silencioso” por su tranquilidad extraordinaria, siempre puede mantener su estabilidad con la cabeza fría a pesar del gran estrés que le cae, un arma muy potente que seguramente ayudará a Lin a ganar una medalla en el futuro, según dijo el jugador alemán.
林的外號是「沈默殺手」，因為他總能在面臨壓力時依舊保持冷靜維持他的穩定性，德國選手也表示這絕對能幫助他在未來奪下獎牌。
Lin, de sólo 19 años, se trata de su primera aparición en los JJ.OO, pero ya ganó una medalla de bronce en el dobles mixtos de tenis de mesa junto con su compañera Cheng I-ching (鄭怡靜), enorgulleciendo a Taiwán.
這是19歲的林昀儒第一次參加奧運，但是他已經跟搭檔鄭怡靜奪下混雙銅牌，為國爭光。
