MCO2 DAY NINETEEN Another cari pasal project that I started a few weeks ago and finally had the time to somewhat finish. I redid and organized my spice rack! I had the HORNAVAN trolley and spice jars from @ikeamalaysia, along with random balangs and glass jars I’ve kept from food products we’ve used up (kuih raya, kerepek, jam jars, Prego sauce jars, etc). They were a mish mash of colours and seemed messy so I did what any cari pasal projecteer would do any bought myself black spray paint on Shopee and made them all somewhat the same colour 😂 It was a task that took several days because I had to make sure the paint would stick to the different materials (there were a few plastic balangs that did not survive). Waiting for them to dry was agony because they were parked at the only airy area our apartment had so we couldn’t open the door. Spray painting the sides were awful because they couldn’t get even. I got black spray paint on almost everything 💆🏽‍♀️ I wanted to spray paint the HORNAVAN black too so it would match the FJALLBO shelves we have, but after it took so long for just the jars, I made the executive decision to redha and not do it 😂 just gave it a quick scrub and wash. Alhamdulillah it worked out in the end and I just re-labeled everything with some stickers I had. Overall as Ashraf said “maximum effort for minimum impact”.
