中文請往下▼ It’s a refreshing and quiet morning after a long day yesterday. Yesterday was A’s 1st birthday so my husband took the day off and we took A to the aquarium. We found out that A shared a bday with the aquarium, so he will basically get free admission for life on his bday 🤩 ⠀⠀ On today’s plate: - Scrambled Egg - Korean Melon - Lightly Grilled Shiso Leaf Onigiri (Triangle Rice) 🍙 ⠀⠀ Shiso Leaf aka Perilla Leaf is often seen in Japanese and Korean cuisines. They can be eaten raw and it’s commonly used to wrap around rice or meat. I personally love the taste of it, so was excited to have A try some. I lightly grilled it on the rice so that it’ll stick better for A to hold. Shiso has many green leaf benefits and has a minty taste to it. So I’m glad he didn’t mind it too much and finished it all. .
