Siobhán Haughey stamps her class becoming double Olympic medalist, sets up another Asian mark
Siobhán Haughey stamped (銘刻) her authority (權威) in the pool by becoming a double Olympic medal winner in Hong Kong when she swam to silver in the 100 meter freestyle (自由式) finals at the Tokyo Aquatic Center on Friday morning.
She also marked her name in the Asian records book in the event, swimming a determined (堅定的) final 10 meters for her second silver and the new milestone (里程碑).
She clocked (達到紀錄) 52.27 behind Australian Emma McKeon who won gold in 51.96, while also setting up a new Olympic record in the finals. Australia's Cate Campbell came in at 52.52 for the bronze. Canadian Penny Oleksiak was fourth.
The finals was held at 10:59am Tokyo time.
Haughey on Wednesday became Hong Kong's first Olympic medalist (獎牌得主) in swimming, when she won silver in the 200 meter freestyle in Tokyo in an Asian record time. She also improved on her own record.
Haughey thanked her team members for the support when they all agreed to forgo (放棄) the 4X200m relay (接力賽), and the Hong Kong public for their cheers (鼓勵).
Hong Kong has so far (到目前為止) bagged (收獲) three Olympic medals in Tokyo, including the fencing gold, and the two swimming silvers.

Never go wrong with @pizzamaruhk! They have lots of unique pizza options. I highly recommend their Chicago style–Bulgogi Pizza (HKD186). It was super cheesy and filled with double cheese compared to the regular one. The cheese gave that beautiful pull which I could pull 1 meter high. 😮🧀The crust and meat slice was thick and flavorful. Their Garlic Sweet Chilli Chicken (HKD118) was pretty juicy and standard as well! Overall, a must-try! Over and over again! 😋
