The verse and lyrics came super quickly，but then I got stuck. I couldn't write a chorus，bridge or intro/outtro that matched the verse well enough. After about a year and a half of returning to the song every week and failing，I was just messing around on guitar one day when I played a random chord that suddenly made me write an intro，and then the chorus and bridge followed really quickly afterwards. Things take their own time，and happen when they're ready to. I don't think this song would have been as good as it is if i'd tried to rush it.
