因為移民英國，不同於移民美國和加拿大。很多人問為甚麼？我說：說來話長。首先，住在英國，即使是大城市，利物浦的建築物與曼徹斯特不同；格拉斯哥的城市風格，又與愛丁堡完全有異。利物浦位於海邊，曾經是英國造船業重鎮。有一個叫做阿爾伯特的碼頭。海邊的建築物有上海外灘十九世紀末的新古典風格。曼徹斯特則是工業革命紡織和機械中心，位於內陸，建築物風貌缺乏利物浦的那種Grandeur。而愛丁堡有很多所謂Masonry，五百年前石匠做的灰黃磚石砌成的樓房，與格拉斯哥色調不同。只四個城市，就有不同層次的風格.......

Let me share another interesting tidbit. Have you noticed the famous bronze doors known as The Gates of Paradise on the Baptistery in front of the cathedral? In 1401, years before the Dome was created, a citywide competition took place among the artists. Each contestant received the same materials and amount of bronze to create a door. The gates of Paradise is the result of that competition, and the winner was Lorenzo Ghiberti. The main architect of the Dome was also the second finalist of the competition, and since then they were each other’s greatest rival!

傳說中的共濟會，在台灣正式譯名為「美生會」（音譯：Free masonry），大剌剌地落足於台北市區黃金地段

因為官網上寫著「歡迎參觀」，於是我就跑去了～ 與現任秘書長度過一個快樂的 Q&A 時光✨

原來這個組織真的是很神秘，但是也有很多被人誤解的地方！比如說與光明會的關係、以及到底協會的目的宗旨等等

Some see tall skyscrapers and vast networks as symbols of prosperity, but what else have been missed out in the concrete jungle during rapid urban development? This episode explores the story behind the familiar but often neglected stone wall trees on Hong Kong island.

The iconic landscape artifact unique to Hong Kong is a spectacular attraction in the Central and Western district. A row of 15- to 20-meter tall Ficus microcarpa, commonly known as Chinese Banyan, have taken roots and thrived on the vertical surface of historical masonry stone walls.

#09 石窯ピザのブレーメンは驚きどころだらけ:赤倉渋温泉の旅

夏の旅は赤倉温泉と渋温泉に渋温泉に行きました。
猛暑から逃れて山で避暑です。

旅の二日目。
お昼ご飯はピザにしました。

まず建物にびっくり。
だって人んちだもん。

そしてピザにびっくり。
だって思ったよりもでっかいもん。

そしてサラダピザにびっくり。
だって焼いてないし、生野菜がいっぱいだもん。

でも、生ハムとズッキーニのピザもスモークサーモンのサラダピザも。
どちらもおいしくいただけました。


I went to Akakura Onsen and Shibu Onsen during the summer vacation.
It is because the city is hot so I will escape the heat to the mountains.

I have pizza at lunch on the second day of my journey.

I ordered pizza of Prosciutto and zucchini and salad pizza of smoked salmon.
It was a very big pizza.

Smoked salmon pizza is a large amount of raw vegetables topping.
It has not been burned.

I ate it for the first time.
